Smackdown, Smacked Down – Might Put You Off Of Your Food…
January 31st, 2010 | Comments (2)

In this week’s Smackdown, Smacked Down!, Serena stayed put in the Straight-Edge Society and fighting champion, Michelle McCool put her title on the line… But who was her opponent?
I’d like to point out that I didn’t read this week’s spoilers, so I didn’t expect/know that what took place did until the rest of the United Kingdom… Which made it a little more enjoyable for me, actually!

Videos by Jokerwilds as usual. Click the banner for the digitals in our gallery. There’s a new layout up and it’s pretty hot, literally!

She Ain’t Britney, Bitch!

If you’re watching Smackdown for the Divas, then this segment dragged on a little for you, huh? DX opened the show, then Rey Rey came down to hype up the Royal Rumble. CM Punk’s music hits and Matt Striker wants to know “WHAT IS GOING ON?!” … Umm, apparently there was supposed to be a tag match for the Unified Tag Titles (Honestly, I think the whole ‘unified’ thing is stupid… Way to kill another great division slowly! [/rant]) – CM Punk + Luke Gallows w/Serena Vs. Degeneration X. The Straight-Edge Society make their way out and I have to say that Serena is really working that bald look so well. Her face does the talking, she’s just so pretty! Plus, I really liked her top. CM Punk goes on about becoming the first ever Straight-Edge Unified Champions. Good for them… HHH fires back with a few funny comebacks, many fan-girls are pretty happy to know he’s straight, I’m sure. But I have to agree with Triple H with the fact that he looks like he’s been on a “Week-long crack binge with Amy Winehouse.” Seriously, L-M-F-A-O. Listen to him, Punk, shave that mammal off of your chin! As for Serena looking like Britney Spears, she looks better than she did! (FYI, I ♥ Britney!)

She’s My… She’s My Latest Accessory!

Back from the break and Serena is stroking her head and smiling… Oo.. Kay. Oh yeah, it’s not a tag match anymore, it’s HHH Vs. CM Punk. Decent match until around 08:36 where HHH has Punk in a figure-four leg-lock, then decides to grab the ropes for extra support which is when Serena interferes. She crawls into the ring and the ref notices that, but not the fact that Hunter is grippin’ on those ropes like his life depends on them, until Luke Gallows smacks him one. The match continues up until 09:23 where CM Punk is about to be Pedigree’d until Serena makes some-sort of save yet again. I love how Triple H isn’t afraid to just pull her off of him over his head, it’s a little different to how Divas are treated nowadays, isn’t it? Thing is, Serena doesn’t give up so she’s back on HHH’s back before you can say “Straight-Edge” and Luke Gallows goes onto the attack. The Society dominates and goes for the hair clippers until Shawn Michaels saves the day. DX takes out Luke Gallows, while Serena plays the human shield role for CM Punk. Again, Matt Striker is correct, Serena’s beauty is a distraction… But the creepy stroking and kissing is just a little disturbing… Once Punk left the ring, I wondered why the heck Serena remained in it, standing there looking evil and I think HBK thought the same sort of thing before he mock-superkicked her into leaving! It’s all hugs within the Straight-Edge Society as the scene draws to an end.

Matches And Munchies!

Michelle’s music is playing and the Women’s Champion is out by herself… Where could Layla be?! Here’s a chance for Michelle to showcase her developed mic skills and she does it really well. My mum made a simple comment that her voice went right through her ears, but still, Michy delivered her promo really well. We see a clip of last week’s humiliation… And Matt Striker makes a bit of a sexist remark, sorry to burst your bubble mate, but women are A LOT stronger nowadays. Apparently, we’re upset that Michelle isn’t competing at the Royal Rumble… So she issues an open challenge. Out comes PIGGIE JAMES, and I’m sure I can come up with about 50 ghetto-terminologies for “baby got back” but I’ll put it in the simplest way: Baby girl had back, front and side to side goin’ on as she moved that junk in her trunk down the ramp towards the ring… This week, I learned that maybe not reading the spoilers gains more entertainment and also I’ve learned that I’ve been carrying extra pockets/lunchboxes this whole time, in the form of a bra.

Basically, this is a title match. But I’m sure we can all guess who came out as the winner; Michelle McCool. Hopefully this is the end of the teather with ‘Piggie James’ jokes with the Rumble being this Sunday.

Uhh, that’s all, folks?

A Closer Look At Desmond Wolfe’s Valet
January 30th, 2010 | Comments (1)

Clicky for a larger piccie! :D
Marcella’s commented about Desmond Wolfe‘s valet before, when she made her ‘debut’ at Genesis, but she was reported as being a model that works for TNA.

TNA have added their digitals from Thursday’s iMPACT!, with a clear shot of Wolfie’s little lady friend, who’s name is Chelsea. The picture is pretty big, so I’ve re-sized it – Click it to make it bigger.

We think she looks really similar to Jenna Morasca, and Facebook commenters have said she looks similar to Karen Angle. What do you guys think?

Divas Tag Titles?
January 29th, 2010 | Comments (2)

I know reading the title and seeing the picture you’re probably thinking “HELL NO” but take a minute to see why I think that the Divas tag titles could be better than two singles titles for the Divas.

At the end of August, TNA announced that they would be introducing tag team titles for the Knockouts. Most people jumped for joy, but I was confused as really, The Beautiful People and Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed were the only tag teams. But, TNA went ahead and paired random Knockouts together and eventually on the 20th of September 2009, Taylor Wilde and Sarita won the Knockouts tag team titles.

WWE are known for booking random Divas tag matches together, which really have no meaning whatsoever. So, why not give those ‘filler Diva tag matches’ some meaning, by introducing the Divas tag team titles. As seen on Superstars last night (read my review/coverage!), The Bella Twins defeated Jillian Hall and Katie Lea in what was the most exciting Divas tag match in a very long time. Already in the WWE, there are a few Diva tag teams in The Bella Twins, Jillian Hall & Katie Lea, Layla & Michelle McCool and Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly. And well, let’s face it, it wouldn’t be hard to pair a the other Divas up together: Beth Phoenix & Natalya, Maria & Mickie James, Eve & Melina and Alicia Fox & Maryse.

The Divas are constantly in tag team matches or used in the wrong ways. At least by introducing a Divas tag title, it could give opportunities for new tag teams to form and for Divas that aren’t used properly to make a name for themselves as a respected tag team in the WWE.

What do you think? Do you love or loathe the idea? Let me know!

*Struck: You Can Look But You Can’t Touch THIS!
January 29th, 2010 | Comments (2)

When I read the spoilers for Superstars, I thought ‘oh another random Divas tag match with no meaning, WONDERFUL!’ but honestly, when I sat down to watch this match, it seriously has to be the best Divas tag match I have seen in a long, long time! The crowd were a bunch of crazy morons; they were SO into the match! Brie and Nikki certainly have improved and the skills they showed in this match was to be honest; amazing. It also gives a chance for jobbers Divas Katie Lea and Jillian a place to showcase their immense talent.

I’m not going to talk you through the whole match, as that would probably bore you to death, but after watching it, if there were Diva tag titles, I’d say both teams would be in the running for it! You may think I’m a looney, but that match was title worthy. That’s just my personal opinion. Take a look yourself and see what you think!

Maria & K2 Dislike Their Entrance Music!
January 29th, 2010 | C0mments

Also, WrestlingInc.com reported that during their trip to the United Kingdom, Maria and Kelly Kelly said they didn’t like their entrance music! See below:

In an interesting note, both Divas said that they disliked their theme music and would change it if they could.

Both of the Divas’ entrance songs were meant for other Divas. Kelly’s ‘Holla’ was meant for Candice, and Maria’s ‘Legs Like That’ was meant for Stacy Keibler!

WrestlingInc.com posted the following article concerning Maria‘s status on SmackDown!:

Update On Maria’s Album, Via The Musical One Herself
January 28th, 2010 | C0mments

Maria’s posted up a new blog entitled ‘Sevin Sins’ regarding her album, Celebrity Apprentice and storylines. Check it all out by clicking here. Here’s what she had to say about her first single and the release of her album:

My ALBUM!! Ahhhh…. one of my dreams is finally coming true!! I have been a writer my entire life. I love to express myself in words. Now, my words are combined with music and I am excited. The single to my first partial album is called, “Fantasy.” It is a song I wrote when I was having a hard time. I wanted to be some boy’s fantasy but he didn’t care. I wanted my life with him but he wanted nothing to do with me. Something I think happens a lot to men and women. The album is called, “Sevin Sins.” It is available on ITUNES on April 13. 13 has been a twisted lucky number for me. There are 4 original songs written by me, 2 music videos, and a free original photo booklet. My album is Rock music, Twisted lyrics, and Sex appeal. I will be coming out with “Fantasy” in February. I hope you all support me in my dream. I can’t wait to share my thoughts through music with you.

Whenever She Is Raging, She Takes Life Away!

Title Song: Ice Queen – Within Temptation

Katie Lea is on her second photoshoot in two week and it’s even hotter than her last one! Katie Lea has the knack for the Gothic look, but also implementing the Diva style in there too. She sports a Royal blue corset with a fluffy black shawl. She also has on black (floral), her signature studded belt and the outfit is finished off with simple Katie Lea-ish boots! It’s also nice to see Katie Lea’s hair all down rather her having it up at the front (do excuse me, I don’t know girls hair terms!). She’s also rocking her eye make-up as per usual!

The Hot ToPic: #3 & #9 but the whole photoshoot is hot!
What The Fug?!: None!!
