Kelly Kelly Set For A Big Push

Kelly Kelly is apparently seen as a bigger star than Gail Kim. Gail Kim was supposed to be drafted to Smackdown, but because Kelly is seen as the bigger star, she’s been moved to the blue brand to replace the recently released face Divas Mickie James and Maria.
According to WrestlingNewsCenter.com, Kelly Kelly is all set and ready for a big push on Smackdown, hence why she was moved on Monday’s draft, not Supplementally the next day. WWE are in the process of focusing on their younger Divas, so it’s Kelly’s time to shine. Many would have anticipated this moment for a while, while others may feel like Kelly had her chance to appeal to them before becoming bland. To be honest, I’m just glad she’s away from Jerry Lawler’s perverted comments on Monday Night Raw, although I’m sure we’ll hear Matt Striker on Smackdown comment on Kelly being Jewish at least once.
Also getting a huge push is current Divas Champion Eve Torres because the company is high up on her in-ring work. I think her winning the title already made it kind of obvious.
More BIG Exclusive Interviews: Mickie Knuckles, Amy Lee & Ryan Shamrock

Not long after news that we’d be interviewing Becky Bayless, Gorgeous George, Kathy Dingman (Barbara Bush), Lizzy Valentine and Vicky Lyons – we get the yes from “Prime Time” Amy Lee, former TNA Knockout Mickie Knuckles and former WWE Diva Ryan Shamrock!
“Prime Time” Amy Lee is a notable independent ladies wrestler. She is best known for her work in Women Superstars Uncensored and Women’s Extreme Wrestling. Amy Lee has the reputation of being one badass chick. There’s no “fucking” thing that Amy Lee can’t do. She’s taken on Nicole Bass & Awesome Kong, just to name a few!
Mickie Knuckles, who was known as Moose Knuckles and a third of The Beautiful People in TNA, is better known for working in the major indy promotions such as Chikara, Chickfight, Full Throttle Wrestling and many, many more. Mickie is known for her hardcore style and intergender matches. Whilst in TNA, Mickie got to work with Roxxi and ODB in ‘Bimbo Brawl’ matches as Mickie’s character HATED BIMBOS!
Alicia Nicole Webb is better known by her then WWF persona, Ryan Shamrock. She was the kayfabe younger sister of Ken Shamrock. Ryan got herself entangled with Val Venis. And eventually, she joined up with Terri Runnels and Jacqueline to become Pretty Mean Sisters. She had a short stint in WCW as Symphony. She also had a brief appearance in TNA as Aleesha, who would scout wrestlers from the stage.

OSD Exclusive: “The Lyoness” Vicky Lyons Interview

The OhSoDivalicious family had the honour of sending in some questions to the independent wrestling Diva, “The Lyoness” Vicky Lyons! Vicky discussed what made her want to get into wrestling, her dream match, her favourite member of TNA’s Beautiful People and much more! We would like to express our deepest and upmost gratitude to her. Vicky is totally down to earth and speaks her mind. It really was exciting and such a pleasure to be in contact with her. Now let’s get to the interview!
To the fans who might not be too familiar with you, sum yourself up in ten words.
Vicky: I am a carefree, out going, out spoken stubborn Texas girl that has no problem telling you exactly what’s on my mind!
You stated on your Myspace page that when you were only 4 years old, you were involved in a hit and run incident. You said the doctor’s told your parents that you would never walk or talk again. What were the thoughts running through your head when you proved them wrong and began your wrestling training?
Vicky: Honestly, when I proved everyone wrong, I wanted to rub it in everyone’s face! But, that’s not the kind of person I am! I sure felt like it though.
What was it about wrestling that made you want to get into the business?
Vicky: I love the physical aspect of wrestling. When I was a kid, my parent’s always tried to shelter me because of my accident, but I always found some way to give them a heart attack! (I was always jumping off my bunk bed and climbing on cabinets.)
How did you get into the wrestling business?
Vicky: I wish I could have started wrestling earlier then I did, but I waited until I was done with doctors and surgeries. I always talked about wanting to get into wrestling, just like the doctor’s, no one believe I could do it. Well, that just made want to prove them wrong about one more thing! It’s like Dr. Stevie says, I’ll show you, you’ll see! I love Dr. Stevie! Everyone told me told me that because of my disabilities the wrestling industry would not take me seriously. I was starting to believe everyone, and didn’t bother trying to do anything about it! Until one day, I was sitting in my house in Plano, Texas watching WWE and I saw the most impressive debut of the wrestler that inspired me to go for my dream, and that wrestler was Zack Gowen. After I heard his story, I thought if he can do it, I could do it. I then started searching for schools in Texas. Sure enough, I found a school that literally was five minutes from where I lived. (I took this as a sign!) That school closed about four years ago. That is when I started a search again. Every time, I did an Internet Search, this place called HIGHSPOTS kept coming up. I researched it and packed up and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. (Most people thought I was crazy, but that’s me!)
Carry on after the cut to continue reading our interview with the wonderful Vicky Lyons!

Tara’s latest blog confirms her depature from TNA
TNA Knockout (not for much longer) Tara, posted up a blog commenting on several things, one especially though – her current status with TNA.
I came to TNA last year because I still had a lot of wrestling left in me. I was paid a fraction of what I thought I deserved. But I wanted to show I was still at the top of my game. Now my contract is up in May. I want a modest pay increase. They don’t want to pay me what I think is fair. I have no problem going my own way.
When going into a lesser company like TNA, you expect to be paid less, so that comment from Tara is completely obnoxious. Sure she deserves more, but so do all the other girls. If I’m honest, I think TNA has gone downhill over the past few months anyway and the Knockouts division is really suffering and if Tara goes, they’ll only replace her new heel character with someone else’s, like TNA always does. To read the full whack, continue reading as per usual.
Before They Were Stars: Layla, Mickie, ODB & More!

MSN.Com have posted up an interesting article of what Smackdown, Raw and TNA Superstars did before they became professional wrestlers. Of course, some Divas used to be models but some other past occupations might intrigue you. Credit to one of our newest elite affiliates, Yay-Mickie for bringing my attention to this article.
Layla El (Showgirl and cheerleader)
Where did Layla El come from? Well, London to be exact. However, before coming to WWE, Layla was a showgirl for Carnival Cruise Lines. She also had a short stint as a Miami Heat cheerleader before entered the WWE Diva search and doing what she does today.
Mickie James (Exotic Dancer, Waitress)
That’s how Mickie James got her start, some say. It wasn’t for very long, and she opted to go train for pro wrestling instead of that life.
Independent wrestlers don’t make much dough, so she had to get a job as a waitress at the Olive Garden. Mickie James also posed nude in an infamous set of photos in the Leg Show fetish magazine.
Michelle McCool (Teacher)
Yes, she has an athletic background. Michelle McCool (her real name) played softball in college and competed in a number of fitness competitions. But McCool made her bread by teaching seventh-grade science for four years in her home state of Florida. That should come as no surprise with it being the family business. Her mother is a teacher and her father, a superintendent.
Beth Phoenix (Boys high school wrestler)
No, we’re definitely not saying Beth Phoenix was once a boy.
But if it looks like Beth could roll you up and beat you down in three seconds, that’s because she probably can. Elizabeth Carolan spent her entire athletic career wrestling, and not just the pro product we all enjoy. She was an amateur wrestler in high school in New York, on the boys team because no other girls participated in the activity.
She got some national notoriety as well as some people wondering if such an (well) intimate sport should be co-ed. Regardless, Beth Phoenix wound up being better than all the boys on her team and even in the entire northeast. She actually won first place in the freestyle regional tournament in 1999 at age 18.
Tiffany (Playboy model)
Of course Tiffany (Taryn Terrell) was a Playboy model. I mean c’mon. Did you also know she leads a volunteer group called Hope’s Children Home for abused and neglected kids. Did you know she’s a vegan and an animal rights activist. We’re not joking. I bet you didn’t.
Live Supplemental Draft Coverage

For the FULL coverage including Superstars, you can click to see after the cut.
Visitors Supplemental Draft Picks!

Linda’s pick #1: Maryse to SD!
I Would Draft Maryse Back to SmackDown cause its like her home there. She Starts there and won her First Championship. i also think that The Divas On SD have better Storylines and longer Matches. She Also Could put up Some Great Matches With Beth Phoenix Like in Survivor Series 2008.

David’s pick: Savannah to RAW
I think Savannah will be traded to Raw for the sup. draft. She is a good wrestler but she is stuck being an announcer on nxt. Savannah will go to Raw and be the top face diva. Tony Chimell can take her place as announcer on nxt. She could go to both Raw and Smackdown but Kelly just got drafted to Smackdown last night, so they need a top face now.

Cara Lee’s pick: Brie Bella to SD!
Wow! Last years Supplemental Draft almost saw the split of The Bella Twins, but right at the end, Brie was drafted to the same brand as Nikki Bella! I think the Supplemental Draft will split the team up this year. They have to make an impact in their own way to make a name for themselves because they’re just known for being odd and for being escorts for the RAW Guest Hosts. I think Brie could do a good job on SmackDown, it will give her a chance to shine again. I think Nikki will turn heel on RAW and align herself with Maryse, if Maryse doesn’t get drafted that is lol!

Bailey’s pick: Eve to SD! & Beth to RAW
I think it’s about time they shook things back up… again! We have two new champions. Diva’s champ Eve and Woman’s champ Beth. Eve should go back to Smackdown and feud with team Lay-cool and Beth can come to Raw and face the likes of Gail and Jillian Hall and Maryse. They would take their championships with them too, so the Diva’s title would be exclusive to Smackdown and the Woman’s title would be exclusive to Raw again.

Linda’s pick #2: Jillian & Gail to SD!
The 2 Divas That will Be Next are gonna have a Match at Next’s Superstars Episode. Gail & Jillian. I Really Hope that they will be Drafted To SD Too. Cause they have No Matches in Raw only in Superstars and that sux. Both Are Great Wreslters and i dont wanne see how they get released like Katie.
Let us know your supplemental draft picks!
For the fun of it and just to see what all of our visitors think. Comment, tweet, message or email us (ohsodivalicious@yahoo.com) who you think, or would like to be drafted in the supplemental draft, and give us a reason why! We’ll post up the best ones before the supplemental draft begins at 5pm GMT/12pm ET.
