Groove, slam, work it back, it’s time to get so STARSTRUCK again! For a second Thursday in a row on WWE Superstars, the Divas from Smackdown to centre stage. In the main event match, Kelly Kelly took on one half of the self professed co-Women’s champions, Michelle McCool – who had Layla and Kaval at ringside with her. Tamina also made an apperance, aiding her boys to victory in a tag match.
- ● Jamie Keyes: I loved Jamie’s dress. She’s really made that style (and the one sleeved dress) her own and she rocks the orange colour too!
- ● Michelle McCool: What’s there to say about Michelle’s attire that I haven’t said before? YAWN!
- ● Layla: I dunno what to think of Layla’s dress. It was an odd style, and the pattern kind of reminded me of a granny’s knitted blanket or something. She was wearing some hot boots though!
- ● Kelly Kelly: Kelly’s was my favourite attire this week. It was a new pink top and bottom set with a black top underneath the pink one. It really suits Kelly and her girly, bubbly personality. She’s wearing those tights again though! They need trashed.
- ● Tamina: Tamina was wearing a Jamie Keyes style dress made from a sparkly binbag. This outfit had to be the worst of the night. It was weird and ugly and did nothing for Tamina.
Kaval comes out with Laycool, who do their signature entrance. During that, they place their broken Women’s title together. Is it wrong to love the broken title? K2 then makes her way out in a new attire! NXT Diva, Jamie Keyes, was the ring announcer by the way.
The bell rings and the Divas tie up. Michelle McCool hits a quick firemans carry and goes into a cover. She only gets a one count. From the ground, Michelle grabs K2′s wrist and lifts her up into a hammerlock. Kelly reverses by hitting some sort of jumping snapmare. Kelly hits a droptoe hold, followed by a very BAD dropkick, then by slamming Michelle’s head to the mat. K2 howls everywhere like a rabid animal as she bangs Michelle’s face off the canvas. Kelly backs up and runs for Michelle, but Michelle follows through and shoves Kelly into the corner. Michelle yanks on her arm a couple of times before getting K2 back into a hammerlock. Kelly fights back with a couple of elbows. We go to see another jumping snapmare reversal, but Michelle powers over Kelly and flings her to the floor. Stomps to Kelly.
Michelle circles Kelly before lifting her up by her “injured” arm. She stomps on Kelly’s arm. Layla prances about with the broken title. Michelle leans on the ropes, pulling on Kelly’s arm. Michelle signals that this is basically over. Michelle picks up K2 who reverses into a crossbody. Michelle gets her back down though with a sharp shoulder block. Michelle uses Kelly’s head to do some push ups. Layla prances EVERYWHERE! Cover with a two count. Michelle yells “WATCH KAVAL” as she tries to rip Kelly’s arm off. She kneels on her arm before stretching it again. Michy slams Kelly’s arm off the mat.
As the ref checks on K2, Michelle kicks her and walks about some more. Kelly almost gets to her feet but Michelle knocks her back down with a kick to the back. Michelle chokes Kelly in the corner. Michelle runs into a huge kick from Kelly, who then dives on Michelle. She slams Michelle’s head off the mat before “COME ONNNNNNNNN” is heard and two clotheslines send Michelle down! Kelly kicks Michelle to the mid section. She goes for an Irish whip, but Michelle reverses only to have Kelly run off and hit her signature shrieking headscissors.
Kelly runs at Michelle but gets dodged. K2 knees Michelle however and gets onto her shoulders. She goes for a roll pin, but Michelle drops her off her shoulders. Michelle crawls around Kelly, smirking, knowing she’s gonna win. She grabs ahold of Kelly’s legs and lifts her up for her finisher. She then hits K2 with the Faith Breaker for the win. Layla screeches and prances into the ring (with Kaval) to celebrate with Michy. Laycool check themselves out in their broken Women’s title before putting them together, FLAWLESS!
Flawless moments:
- ● I loved the ending, how Michelle stalked Kelly before slamming her with the Faith Breaker!
- ● The ‘shoving together’ of the broken Women’s title, LOVE IT!
Smelly bits:
- ● Kelly’s shrieking throughout the match was not necessary and made me want to mute the match.
- ● The constant prancing and yelling from Layla at ringside was very annoying.
- ● Both of the above put me off and distracted me from the match quite a bit!

Great blog! much appreciated.
