Tonight marks WWE’s annual summer pay-per-view event, the twenty third SummerSlam show! In the past, we’ve seen ‘Diva dodgeball’, a mixed tag team championship match, a battle royal, even a stinkface match! However, there’s only on Divas match this year at SummerSlam! So, as usual, I’m going to make up wacky and wonderful matches that could have been featured on this PPV and you guys get to vote for your favourite! It’s time for SummerSlam to go ROYAL!

Last week on RAW, the Divas champion claimed she had beaten everyone on RAW in various different matches; but can she really back that up? Alicia Fox will go toe to toe with all of the RAW Divas – Jillian, Gail Kim, Tamina, Natalya, Maryse, Eve, The Bella Twins and Melina – in a gauntlet match. Once Alicia eliminates one Diva, another will come out and so on and so forth. The winners? The RAW Divas. Alicia Fox would eliminate every RAW Diva and believe she has won the match, until that music plays again…Paparazzi! Melina as the final entrant, would come out and defeat Alicia, repeating what she did on her return.

RRRRRRRRRosa Mendes has been training for a few months now and changing up her image so that she can join Team Laycool, so SummerSlam is here, the co champions are ready to induct Rosa into their group… or are they? Laycool would pretend Rosa is in the group, before yelling “REAL TALK” and humiliating Rosa, telling her she was never gonna be apart of Laycool. As Laycool leave, Rosa would turn PSYCHO and maul the pair of champion Divas before taking their broken Women’s title and storming off with it.

ALL the WWE Divas will go head to head in a ‘Summer Divas’ battle royal. The winner? The WWE Women’s champion, Layla. Laycool would be a prominant force in the match – Laycool would be the final two in the match. As soon as Michelle throws out the final person, Layla would capitalize and sling out Michelle, exclaiming “OOPSIE!”

Two years ago at SummerSlam 2008, a similiar match occured when then Women’s and Intercontinental champions (Mickie James and Kofi Kingston) lost to Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix in a double title match. Kofi Kingston will once again appear in this match, but alongside the team of Kelly Kelly and Tiffany going up against Dolph Ziggler and Laycool – who have the devious flawless Vickie Guerrero in their corner! The winners? aaand still Intercontinental and co-Women’s champions, Laycool and Dolph Ziggler! Vickie Guerrero would definately insert herself into the match by punching one of the good guys in the head, allowing for one of the baddies to capitalize and pick up a win – whether it was Kofi or a member of Team Barbie she punched, Vickie doesn’t care, excuse her PLEASE!

Three weeks ago on RAW, Alicia Fox defeated Brie Bella after Jillian came down to stop them from switching. After the match, Jillian serenaded Alicia with a beautiful rendition of Queen’s “We Are The Champions” however, Alicia wasn’t to thankful and hit Jillian with the scissors kick. A week later in a six Diva tag match, Jillian refused a tag to Alicia and once Melina returned, Jillian threw Alicia back into the ring, wanting Melina to smack her. After a week of not seeing one another, Jillian and Alicia Fox will square off in a one on one, special referee grudge match – with the referee being Alicia’s new foe, Melina! The winner? Jillian. Jillian doesn’t have too much luck with singles matches, but her former BFF Melina is the special ref, so a little facebuster to Alicia might go in Jilly’s favour, if you get me!

The co-Women’s champions, Layla and Michelle McCool, broke Layla’s Women’s title on last weeks Smackdown, after Michelle had to give her title up to Teddy Long. I’m sure he’s pretty sick of their behaviour and how they’re treating their fellow Divas, so in a one on one match, co-Women’s champs will collide when Layla will take on Michelle McCool for the official title of “WOMEN’S CHAMPION”. The winner? Layla. Layla’s not ready to give up the belt just yet!

Each team of Divas has a problem with someone on their opposing team – Laycool and Team Barbie, Tamina and Natalya, Alicia Fox and Melina – and Diva tag team matches are usually quite entertaining. Co Women’s-champions, Laycool, would lead their team of Tamina and Divas champ Alicia Fox into action to take on Tiffany, Kelly Kelly, Natalya and the recently returned Melina! The winners? Melina, Natalya, Tiffany & K2. Not only would Melina pick up the win for her team, but her BFF Jillian would no doubt be floating around ringside, distracting Alicia Fox!
