This Week in Fashion: 6th Edition!
March 27th, 2011 | C0mments

What happens when you merge a bunch of OhSoDivalicious’ old fashionista-focused posts? Well, for one, you’ll get a mixture of things you’ve seen before, but all shiny and brand new as we bring you…

Welcome to the latest edition of This Week In Fashion, simply because WWE’s Week in Photos isn’t enough when it comes to looking back at the hits and misses with what the ladies of wrestling were strutting their stuff in. Let’s get this show on the road then, shall we?

MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Maryse hit the Raw scene in her trademark red jacket and sparkly red, black and silver attire. Maryse looks good in glitter, but then again, she’s able to pull of anything. In the golden Eve Torres glimmered, in fact, her gold attire one of my favourites. Elsewhere, Tamina went with a timeless classic of a little black dress. I’m getting a bit bored of this look now, aren’t you? She looked nice and all, but *yawn*, mix it up a bit!

Vickie Guerrero, however, rocked black very well. In all black everything: boots, leggings, a vest top and even her hair, Vickie looked ever so fierce… RAWR! Meanwhile, LayCool also rocked black leggings while mixing it up with funky tops. No pictures with Layla while Michelle McCool was representin’ the Divas in a cute, hooded top. Her silver belt was the cherry on top!

Trish Stratus was also on Raw, but was rather plain. Pink zip-top and a pair of black trousers. I didn’t include her in the graphic, but if I did, she would have got a 6.

WWE SUPERSTARS

This week, both Melina and Gail Kim were outfit-repeaters. Should we let them off? Nah! I’m just kidding… But all has been said about these outfits already. I’m a lover of blue (Not that you couldn’t tell by our current layout or anything…) so that’s why both ladies score rather high. I won’t be as generous next time!

TNA iMPACT!

The iMPACT! Zone has never been the first place to seek fashionistas in the wrestling world and this week was no different. All of the Knockouts didn’t really impress, but weren’t dressed utterly terrible. Mickie James looked cute ‘n’ country in a fringed top and shorts, while Tara didn’t exactly look like a “super model”, much like her top suggests. I think she lost her bottoms somewhere.

The Latinas Rosita and Sarita pulled a LayCool and matched clothing. Alone, the outfits are nice, together they look a little better. I like Rosita’s hair, the rose is a nice touch. Elsewhere, Madison Rayne looked, um, I can’t find the words for her outfit, so Conor found a better way to describe it: “It would suit Tara more,” which I agree on. I don’t like the random cuts and style of it, but I did like the way Madison rocked it. I agree with Conor though, the print looks more like something Tara would pull off.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!

I’m quite the fan of Kelly Kelly‘s barely-there attires, they’re cute on her. I also like her vibrant colour choices that she makes each week – photoshoot please? Her partner in crime for the night, Rosa Mendes wore a peach attire, a colour that I think doesn’t work too well for the Freakin’ Costa Rican. I love the style of her attires, but the peach was a little too overpowering for Rosa.

Jersey was in the house, bitchessss! Layla made an awesome Snook-a-like, she looked quirky and jazzed up in her sparkly attire. Bonus points for her Smurf slippers! Michelle McCool pulled off her guidette look with a leopard print top and teeny-tiny shorts. The Grouch slippers were fun too!

• Check out the SmackDown! Digitals & you’re in for a treat if you loved LayCool’s look, they had a mini-photoshoot! LayCool – A Shore Thing

Vote Vote Vote!

Last week, SmackDown! managed to scrape on by with 30% of the votes – Raw and WWE Superstars coming in a close 2nd/3rd position – will the Blue Brand Divas be able to do it again? Vote below!
