Welcome to SmackDown, Smacked Down!, a weekly dose of SmackDown’s shenanigans, with an OhSoDivalicious twist. Well, I missed last week’s coverage, but close enough. Last week we saw the SmackDown! debut of AJ alongside BFF Kaitlyn (with Natalya accompanying them) as they took on the team with “too many A’s” in their name: Tamina and Alicia Fox. This week, it’s the same match, except “too many A’s” now have a partner in crime to accompany them to the ring, the rrrreturning RRRRosa Mendes!

I know SDSD coverage has been missing something for a while, hasn’t it? The Fashion Focus hasn’t been around in, well, agessssss and I haven’t been too up-to-date with This Week in Fashion, either. To make it up to you, here’s a Mini Styles Clash!

I think AJ‘s attires have been rather simple, but very cute. The touch of cutesy skulls kept it from being too boring. Speaking of boring, I’m a little bit bored of Kaitlyn‘s style of attires. I can imagine Tamina in something like that, actually. Tamina, however, went a little edgy and it paid off. Alicia Fox also went with something new, but it didn’t work any wonders! It’s nice, but not foxy fierce.

Meanwhile, Rosa Mendes looked sleek and sexy and Natalya‘s dress reminded me of something one of my Barbie dolls has. Bonus points for feelings of nostalgia ♥.

AJ & Kaitlyn w/Natalya Vs. Alicia Fox & Tamina w/Rosa Mendes

Already in the ring are Alicia Fox and Tamina, along with Rosa Mendes. Natalya‘s music hits and AJ bounces out with her and Kaitlyn. The former NXT Season 3 duo run into the ring and Kaitlyn does a little somersault as a backstage video is shown. Kaitlyn and AJ are shown with Nattie, promising that they’re going to make her proud, but they have the right attitude and Natalya’s already proud of both of them. “Please don’t lose, guys,” are Natalya’s departing words, in which AJ declares “We’ll try that!”

Tamina and Kaitlyn start things off. There’s some shoving for a while, before Tamina scowls at Kaitlyn before kicking her in the stomach. She then flings the blonde Diva onto the matt, before picking her up and tossing her into a corner. She tries to fly into Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn moves and then watches, waiting for the moment to hit Tamina in the stomach, then attempts a roll-up. One… Two-count!

“C’mon Tamina! Gimmie some, gimmie some!” Exclaims Alicia Fox from the corner as Tamina tags her in. Alicia tries to get some, but ends up on the matt as Kaitlyn tags in AJ. AJ lobs a trio of right hands at Alicia, then Alicia tries to get some momentum by going for a clothesline, but misses. Meanwhile, on commentary, Alicia apparently claimed that Natalya doesn’t own the colour pink and that she (Alicia) looks better in it… Hmm, not quite sure if I agree, I wasn’t too keen on Foxy’s attire choice. In the ring, AJ does a Headscissors Takedown (I swear, I knew the name of that one!) and attempts to capitalise but Alicia doesn’t let that happen. She smacks AJ around and then goes to tag in Tamina.

Tamina boots AJ, chucks her across the ring then cockily slams her onto the matt. To Marc’s delight, Rosa does a celebratory shimmy at ringside while Tamina takes out Kaitlyn on the apron. Heading back to AJ, she misses a clothesline, but manages to catch AJ and hit her with a Samoan Drop! One, two, THREE! Tamina gets the pin for the win!
