The Top 12: 22nd January
January 22nd, 2012 | Comments (1)

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#12 – VICKIE GUERRERO

Last week: #N/A
Vickie Guerrero makes our number twelve spot due to her excessive BAD behaviour this week in the WWE. On RAW, the ‘Excuse Me!!’ Queen called Mick Foley OBESE and bashed the WWE champ CM Punk. She later went on to manage Jack Swagger to the United States championship, mocking Zack’s lady friend Eve ALL THE WAY. Then on Smackdown, Vickie lost a dance off but proved to be the ‘better dancer’ out of her and Mr. Brodus Clay. EXCUSE ME!

#11 – AUDREY MARIE

Last week: #N/A
FCW’s resident country gal and Divas champion makes her debut on the ‘Top 12′ list this week after picking up a pinfall victory over Caylee Turner this past week in FCW. The champ continues to improve leaps and bounds in the developmental territory and I’m sure she hopes to be a full fledge WWE Diva and make 2012 her year.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#10 – GAIL KIM & MADISON

Last week: #7
The Knockouts Tag Team champions haven’t had a good week. After promising to be at ringside for Madison Rayne’s cage match with Mickie James, Gail Kim didn’t follow through and left Madison high and dry and all alone to get beat. We know Madison has a temper and Gail’s ego is through the roof so all is wondering how they are gonna cope as a team next week on Impact.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#9 – CAMERON & NAOMI

Last week: #10
Naomi and the ‘Divalicious’ Cameron Lynn move up this week on the rankings! Not only did they speak on RAW, but Cole actually called them by their names on Smackdown AND the funkylicious pair won a dance-off (with their boy/monster/ape? Brodus Clay) against the fiesty and forever naughty Vickie Guerrero.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#8 – WINTER & ANGELINA

Last week: #N/A
Last week Winter said people should remember her name and after this week, Winter and Angelina Love are gonna be the hot topic on people’s lips for weeks to come. The demented duo started off the night with Angelina Love issuing a challenge to Eric Young, followed by Winter giving dishing out a brutal beating to her OVW enemy ODB! Angelina got herself DQ’d from her match by kicking Eric’s nuts off, but she didn’t care. The pair beat him down, then they beat up ODB. They got thrown out in the end by EY, but that doesn’t matter, this team made their point loud and clear.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#7 – THE BELLA TWINS

Last week: #6
Brie Bella (or should I say NIKKI?!) defeated Kelly last week in a singles match after a dosage of twin magic. Kelly teamed with Alicia on RAW to get some retribution. The Bellas got in control of the barbie however and went to deliver their signature twin magic again but annoying celebrity blogger Perez Hilton pulled out the illegal Bella and cost them the match. They didn’t back down from him after though and shoved him on his ass. When K2 and Alicia stepped up, they ‘made like a tree and leave’ (as Marcella said).

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#6 – MICKIE JAMES

Last week: #11
Revenge? Tick! Mickie James got her revenge this past Thursday on Impact when she dominated a steel cage match between herself and Madison Rayne. The multil-time champion hit a sick Mickie-DT on the ‘Killa Queen’ to end the match and shut Madison up for now. She celebrated after the match and said one down, one to go; next she was after Gail Kim and the Knockouts championship!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#5 – K2 & ALICIA FOX

Last week: #12 (Kelly), #4 (Alicia)
The fierce and lovable team of Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox rank in at number five this week. After suffering a loss last week at the hands of the dastardly Bella Twins, Kelly Kelly single handedly defeated the sisters this week on RAW after blogger friend Perez Hilton prevented twin magic. Even when Brie and Nikki stood upto Perez, K2 and Fox didn’t back down, making the bad Bellas flee the scene.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#4 – MAXINE

Last week: #3
MY, OH MY MAXINE! This dirty Diva is notorious for playing tonsil tennis and mind games with Dirty Curty and ‘Sweet Meat’ Bateman, however, the tables were indeed turned as it was revealed husband-to-be Dirty Curty had tricked Maxine on their wedding day. Once finding out the news and deciding he wasn’t the man for her, Maxine slapped Curtis and even helped Derrick Bateman in his beating. Oh, and you can bet she gave Bateman a good slap, followed by a big ol’ Maxine style snog.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#3 – ODB

Last week: #5
“You shall be awakened by true love’s first kiss” once said a small blue fairy. Could that fairy have cast her magic upon ODB this past Thursday on Impact? The tough broad looked glowing and happier than ever after she snogged her weirdo boyfriend. So despite being thumped twice in one night by the same people, ODB rises up the ranks of the ‘Top 12′ after realising her true love. Awwwwh!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#2 – ROSA MENDES

Last week: #2
The freakin’ Costa Rican keeps her place at number two this week in the ‘Top 12′ rankings. Rosa didn’t wrestle this week but she was at ringside while her new champion tag team knotched up two victories this week on both RAW and Smackdown. The manager stylings of Rosa Mendes is proving to be a success for this team and for Rosa herself!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#1 – TAMINA

Last week: #1
The warrior princess continues to dominate this week in the WWE. Despite not wrestling on RAW, NXT or Smackdown, Tamina pulled yet another victory over the Hart Dungeon Diva, Natalya on Superstars. Taking it to Natalya from the first chime of the ring bell, Tamina proves she’s a star on the rise in 2012 and there’s no stopping her any time soon!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

GOODBYE TO:

Velvet Sky (Last week: #9)
• The former Knockouts champion slips off the list this week due to inactivity in the ring and for not going furthur to become the Knockouts Vice President. SHOTS!

Aksana (Last week: #8)
• Aksana was absent from FCW this week and all she did on Smackdown was continue to make filthy innuendos towards the General Manager, Teddy ‘Bear’ Long. Come on Aksana, do something! Make a move and give him another heart attack ala Kristal Marshall.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

That concludes this weeks ‘Top 12′ rankings. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices by voting in the poll below, sounding off in comments or sending us a tweet at @OSDivalicious_.

  1. How is Mickie not #1 after winning the best women’s match of the week? How the hell is she #6?
