The Top 12: 29th January
January 29th, 2012 | C0mments

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#12 – VICKIE GUERRERO

Last week: #12
Our lovely Cougar Vickie Guerrero keeps her number twelve spot in our rankings this week after another successful week of excusing poor unfortunates and managing. The former Miss WrestleMania managed her team of Dolph Ziggler and United States champion Jack Swagger to victory over John Cena and WWE champ CM Punk. Excuse her, she’s on a roll!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#11 – WINTER & ANGELINA

Last week: #8
This creepy couple did not have a good time this week. First off on Wednesday’s Xplosion, Angelina Love (with Winter in her corner) failed to pick up the victory over former ‘Beautiful People’ team mate Velvet Sky. Then on Thursday’s Impact, their attempts to assault EY backstage crumbled and then they got their asses handed to them in a tag team match against EY and the ODB. Better luck next week ladies!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#10 – AKSANA

Last week: #N/A
Smackdown’s hottest Lithuanian export Aksana made her Smackdown match debut this past Friday, taking on dominant ‘Diva of Doom’ Natalya. Natalya had a bee in her bonnet about Tamina and took her eyes off Aksana for a second (which is how long the match was) and got rolled up for the three! Aksana would have been higher on the list, but she got thumped afterwards by an irate Natalya.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#9 – THE BELLA TWINS

Last week: #7
Twin Magic was a no-go for Brie and Nikki this past Thursday on Superstars when Beth Phoenix returned and pinned Brie in singles action. Not only did she pin Brie, but she shoved the said twin into Nikki, sending her to the outside and capitalizing on the distraction, sending Brie to Glam Slam heaven.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#8 – BETH PHOENIX

Last week: #N/A
‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix made her return to the ring this week on Superstars after well over a months absence. The one time and current Divas champion showed no sign of ring rust while dominating Brie Bella. Beth was on her A-Game, eliminating Nikki from the equation, not allowing any Twin Magic to happen before ending Brie with a Glam Slam. The Glamazon is back!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#7 – MICKIE JAMES

Last week: #6
Mickie had a fantastic week last week and was on such a high. Even though she lost the chance to battle for the Knockouts title, ‘Hardcore Country’ made it known in the match that she won’t back down and she’s still gunning for the title and Gail Kim.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#6 – TARA

Last week: #N/A
She aint the lady to mess with and she proved why this past Thursday on Impact Wrestling. The former TNA Knockouts champ picked up a huge triple threat victory over two other former Knockout champs in Mickie James and Velvet Sky.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#5 – ROSA MENDES

Last week: #2
Rosa Mendes may have managed her team to victory on Smackdown, but this week has been full of big wins and Rosa hasn’t competed in some time. Let’s hope Rosa hasn’t dedicated ALL of her time to managing her boys as we’d love to see her get back to cranking up the crazy in the ring.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#4 – RAQUEL DIAZ

Last week: #N/A
The daughter of Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero and current WWE Diva Vickie Guerrero has become the latest Diva to capture the FCW Divas championship. In an outstanding rookies match, Raquel bulldozed former champ Audrey with a Gory Bomb for the win. She’s one more step in her claim to have total domination and control of FCW.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#3 – MAXINE

Last week: #4
The former NXT rookie Diva isn’t one for compromising or coming to any sort of reasonable understandment however, our favourite bad bitch did just that this week on the yellow brand. Coming to an understandment in Maxine’s book is kicking Dirty Curty in the nuts and pulling on his trampy hair. Now Maxine, Dirty Curty and Bateman can all get along with one another.. Like that’s going to happen!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#2 – TAMINA

Last week: #1
The ‘Samoan Princess’ is knocked off the top spot this week. She didn’t dominate yet again in a match-up, however, she did come and save the day when her nemesis Natalya thumped on Aksana. Tamina delivered a Samoan Drop before sending Nattie to Lala Land with a perfect Superfly Splash.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#1 – ODB

Last week: #3
The self proclaimed ‘One Dirty Bitch’ rises all the way to the top this week. She picked up a win with her new man-candy arm-piece Eric Young, in a tag team match over Angelina Love and Winter, when she hit her lovely finisher on Love. She again, snogged Young. Also, she called Winter a “witch” in the match, so she got extra points for that.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

GOODBYE TO:

Alicia Fox & Kelly Kelly (Last week: #5)
• A week of inactivity from these two ladies in a week of big wins means Kelly and Alicia drop all the way off the list.

Cameron Lynn & Naomi (Last week: #9)
• The funky dancers have got to do more than just dance if they want to secure a spot each week on the ‘Top 12′ list.

Gail Kim & Madison Rayne (Last week: #10)
• I was not impressed to see the ladies who own all the Knockouts gold skip a week of action. Tisk, tisk.

Audrey Marie (Last week: #11)
• Audrey Marie is a tough competitor and she keeps getting better, but she lost her FCW Divas title to Raquel Diaz. Bye!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

That concludes this weeks ‘Top 12′ rankings. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices by voting in the poll below, sounding off in comments or sending us a tweet at @OSDivalicious_.
