The Top 12: 5th February
February 5th, 2012 | C0mments

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#12 – AJ LEE

Last week: #N/A
AJ Lee was injured a few weeks ago in a freak accident. She collided with Big Show and got carried out on a stretcher and hasn’t been seen since. This week on Smackdown however, AJ returned! As Big Show was annihilating her boyfriend, in a brave showing, AJ grabbed Show’s fist in an attempt to stop him from thumping her boyfriend even more. AJ took a stand, she’s not afraid of the world’s largest athlete… her boyfriend may be, but she aint.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#11 – DANIELLE MOINET

Last week: #N/A
Danielle Moinet is a newcomer to FCW, where she started her career as the resident ring announcer. However, this past week on FCW we saw a new side to Moinet; this woman means business. She barged into Maxine’s office with her entourage (okay, it was like one dork) and threw her card on Maxine’s desk. She tells Maxine “you’ve got competition” before snapping her fingers and leaving with her friend.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#10 – VICKIE GUERRERO

Last week: #12
Moving up this week is Vickie Guerrero. The big boss showed no signs of backing down to the dominant Diva Kharma when she returned this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble. Vickie took time to scream at her, allowing her client, Dolph, to eliminate her.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#9 – AKSANA

Last week: #10
Aksana may have felt the wrath of the Glamazon on Smackdown, but on FCW she continued to manipulate the Superstars of FCW; this week her target was champ, Leo Kruger. She fake cries everywhere and he’s putty in her hand! Kruger (with Aksana by his side) confronted Bo Rotundo on the show and said how he doesn’t like how he treats Aksana, while the sly Lithuanian stands on smirking.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#8 – THE BELLA TWINS

Last week: #9
Brie and Nikki Bella had a big pay-per-view win at the Royal Rumble when their team (consisting of themselves, Natalya and Beth Phoenix) picked up a win over Eve, Tamina, Kelly and Alicia. However, the twins couldn’t keep up during the week as they lost out to Kelly and Alicia on Superstars.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#7 – KELLY KELLY

Last week: #N/A
Holla, holla, holla! Kelly Kelly makes her return to the rankings this week after a big win on Superstars. Kelly Kelly picked up a the pinfall over the Bella Twins this past Thursday. Kelly did suffer at the Royal Rumble though, as she felt the Glam Slam one more time. Also, she gets extra points for pointing and laughing at Johnny Ace on RAW.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#6 – ALICIA FOX

Last week: #N/A
Starting the week out with a loss at the Royal Rumble, Alicia Fox made up for it by picking up two wins during the week. The first win was against Maxine on NXT – thirty seconds and the job was done. Then onto Superstars where she and K2 defeated the dastardly Bella Twins. Like her BFF Kelly Kelly, Alicia also gets extra points for pointing and laughing at Johnny Ace on RAW.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#5 – KHARMA

Last week: #N/A
‘The Destroyer of Divas’ Kharma, made her return to WWE this week at the Royal Rumble, IN the Royal Rumble match! Entering at number 21, Kharma scared Michael Cole out of the ring! She hit an Implant Buster on Dolph Ziggler, threw out Hunico and glared at Vickie. The intimidating Diva was eliminated by Dolph Ziggler though after spending over a minute in the annual elimination match.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#4 – MAXINE

Last week: #3
Dropping down one spot this week is the conniving witch, Maxine. On FCW Maxine made a fool of Abraham Washington before laughing out ‘future competition’ Danielle Moinet. Later in the week, she took her eyes off the ball against Alicia on NXT and was rolled up. Dirty Curty was lingering at ringside, which put her off. She took her anger and rage backstage where she searched for Curtis. She found Kaitlyn and gave her a mouthful.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#3 – TAMINA

Last week: #2
The master of the splash suffered not one, but two losses this week. First she was on the losing team at the Rumble, then on Smackdown, she and Aksana lost their tag match. After her Smackdown match though, Natalya tried to lock in her submission finish on Aksana but Tamina saved the day again. She kicked Nattie in the face and hit her signature splash. Watch out, Glamazon.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#2 – BETH PHOENIX

Last week: #8
What a week for The Glamazon! In an eight Diva tag match the Royal Rumble, Beth hit a Glam Slam on K2 for the win. The next night on RAW, Beth hit the Glam Slam on Eve for the win in what was the second shortest Divas title match EVER (Jillian’s being the first?). Then on Smackdown, Beth tagged herself in, telling her tag partner to get out before hitting Aksana with the Glam Slam for her third victory of the week.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#1 – TARA

Last week: #6
The Widow’s Peak Freak shoots up the list to number one. After winning a massive triple threat number one contenders match last week, Tara managed to defeat the Knockouts champ in a non-title match this week on Impact Wrestling. She allowed Madison to botch her own interference on the match before sending the champ to Widow’s Peak and picking up another win.

GOODBYE TO:

ODB (Last week: #1)
• Oh snap! Our number one last week, ODB, has fallen all the way off the list due to inactivity.

Raquel Diaz (Last week: #4)
• New FCW Divas champion and reigning Queen of FCW didn’t show her face on this weeks showing of FCW.

Rosa Mendes (Last week: #5)
• Due to all the winnings and other goings on this week, Rosa’s management skills just couldn’t claim her a spot on the dozen. However, we are always impressed with Rosa’s efforts… and her broken Spanish.

Mickie James (Last week: #7)
• After three weeks of two huge wins and three epic Mickie matches, the country gal didn’t appear on this weeks Impact and drops all the way off.

Winter & Angelina Love (Last week: #11)
• Yet another two Impact Knockouts that didn’t appear on this weeks Impact Wrestling show. Angelina and Winter said people won’t forget their names.. well, they will if you no show!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

That concludes this weeks ‘Top 12′ rankings. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices by voting in the poll below, sounding off in comments or sending us a tweet at @OSDivalicious_.
