In the latest edition of WWE’s ‘Outside The Ring’, Diva Rosa Mendes lets us into her beautiful apartment, introduces us to her best friend and gets a brand new butterfly tattoo!

Caylee Turner Breaks Raquel’s History Making Reign

Raquel Diaz broke history nearly ten days ago in becoming the longest reigning FCW Divas champion of all time, holding the tiny pink championship for 197 days, breaking Funkadactyl Naomi’s reign of 189 days. Last night at an FCW live event in Melbourne, Florida, Raquel Diaz’s history breaking Divas title reign came to an abrupt end when Tough Enough contestant and sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox, Caylee Turner, pinned her to become the new champion. This is Caylee’s first reign as the champ and it’s the first time the belt has changed hands during a live event. Tough Enough and FCW trainer Bill DeMott took to his Twitter page during the live event, to comment on Caylee winning.

@BillDeMott:
New ‪#FCW‬ Divas Champion @WWECayleeTurner !!!!! What a show we are having!

Then later in the night, the newly crowned champion tweeted about winning the belt.

@WWECayleeTurner:
Thanks everyone so much! I’ll wear the title proudly! Shows you really how far hard work, people believing in you and passion can take you!

Congrats Caylee Turner and good luck in your first reign as FCW Divas champion!!

Maxine Leaves WWE

Rumours circulated the internet last night of WWE Diva Maxine quitting the company. Finally, the Diva who spent most of her time on NXT put up a statement on her Twitter account, confirming she had infact left WWE.

@MaxineWWE:
We have come to terms on my release. Its been a ride I want to thank @wwe for the experience and understanding on my feelings. Its not easy saying goodbye. But there are other options at wich I can do. To my fans you may not see me on the WWE screen but on another(; I want to do nothing but get the real chance to entertain all of you…sometimes you have to make that chance for yourself!! I want to take all of you with me…so I hope you all understand why i made my decision. Im not going to another wrestling company that is not in my plans!!! I didnt ask for my release to go to another company. Thank all of you I will keep you all updated on the new things happening for me

Maxine, who signed a WWE contract in 2009, debuted in 2010 on the all Diva season of NXT, where she placed fifth. She then resurfaced last year on NXT and had been the focal point of most of the shows. It’ sad to see Maxine go, but we can’t wait to see what she has in store for her future.

TRUE VAMPS

The racy, bloody and FANGTASTIC popular vampire series True Blood is already three episodes in to it’s fifth season in the USA and in my opinion, already topping it’s preceding season. With Tara running wild trying to blow herself up, Pam still giving out those awesome snarky comments, The Authority being BAD PEOPLE and Sookie in yet another life death situation, I thought it was a good idea to look at our wrestlers and see which one’s would make perfect blood suckers! Sink your fangs into this…

MAXINE

True Blood Twin: Russell Edgington Watch: #1, #2, #3
Manipulative Maxine’s a straight talking Diva who knows what she wants and doesn’t care who she steps on to get it. Since her debut, Maxine has shown she is a powerful talker and can back it in up the ring – being ruthless whenever needed. Much like True Blood’s “oldest vampire” Russell Edgington. Russell is a vindictive, malevolent vampire and is only happy when he is getting what he wants even ripping a news anchors spine out on live television and killing the head of all vamps!!

TNA Today: Madison Rayne & LuFisto

Check out two of the latest editions of TNA Today which feature Madison Rayne talking about a recent win in fitness modelling, and we get to see a promo from TNA Gut Check competitor Lufisto. Also, in 2010 we conducted an interview with Lufisto, which you can read here. Check out the videos below.

Rosie Lottalove retires from wrestling – Official statement included!

Former vivacious TNA Knockout Rosie Lottalove has retired from wrestling, following news regarding her health.

Rosie, also known as Betsy Ruth in the independent circuits, is scheduled to have surgery to have an ovary removed due to Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, a condition that affects 5% to 10% of women aged 12-45. We were able to contact Rosie – real name MaryKate Glidewell – for her official retirement statement, which is below.

I’m gonna keep this brief, my husband joked to not make my retirement statement longer than my career :-)

First, I wanna thank all of the support my fans have given me through my 8 years, and the support regarding my health. Just to clarify things, I am scheduled to have one of my ovaries removed because I have a mass/tumor on it. They don’t think it’s cancerous, so we are thankful for that. I also suffer from Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome…google it. It sucks and caused me excruciating pain after every training session/match, but I put up with it cause I was set on living my dream. After my last trip to Japan it almost killed me. I ended up in the hospital and that’s when my doc said we’d have to remove my ovary. I’m just ready to not be in pain anymore, thankfully.

Next, thank you to everyone who called or messaged me regarding my health. Specifically, Devon, Leva, Los Ben Dejos, Jenny Rose, and all my Japan “family”; I really appreciate you all and love you guys. Also, a huge thanks and a big I love you to my awesome husband, step daughter, and my family who took care of me when I was sick, and stood by me through it all.

Also, I know a lot of people have their opinions and questions regarding what happened at my “tryout” for TNA. I never really commented on it like other people did, because I felt it wasn’t professional of me to throw people under the bus. The only thing I will say that the sport is very calculated, requires competency on both parts, and it’s not ballet. Sometimes people get hurt. Everyone who needs to know what happened does, and those who don’t, don’t. So, all of the opinions people have are just those. And frankly, I was my own worse critic while wrestling, so the opinions and hate mail toward me was taken with the grain of salt it was worth.

Moving forward, I’m currently a nationally certified licensed massage therapist, I’m working at a hospital, and I’m also going to school to finish up becoming a Physicians Assistant for sports medicine. I’m actively working on losing the weight I was required to keep/put on to be marketable in the wrestling business (bet ya didn’t know that). I’m looking forward to putting my degree in theatre to good use by doing some community musical theatre. Most of all, I’m going to do what I’ve always done, work hard and live life to the fullest.

Thanks for all your support and even though I’ll miss it, I had a blast, traveled the world, and I’ll have the memories for a lifetime.

xoxo
MaryKate “Betsy” Glidewell

We’re saddened by the news and hope Betsy’s surgery goes well.

Keep an eye out for future posts regarding an interview with Betsy… We’ll need YOUR questions to send her to make it possible!

The Top 12: June 24th

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

Last week: #N/A
Making her Impact Wrestling debut this past Thursday on Impact for the Gutcheck challenge, was indy star Taeler Hendrix. She took on the veteran in Tara and unfortunately lost, but she put up one hell of an effort, hitting some exciting moves we haven’t seen in a while. We’ll find out next week if Taeler will get herself a TNA contract!
