The Top 12: June 10th

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#12 – SUMMER RAE

Last week: #N/A
Summer Rae returns to the rankings this week after proving her… umm.. great General Manager ability this past Sunday at the FCW show?? After Audrey “Mary” and Caylee Turner came in and asked for a Divas title match (which Audrey was granted) Paige and Sofia then came in and demanded a match. Summer gave the match to Paige after Paige said Sofia is always hurt. Great job, Summer…

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#11 – BROOKE HOGAN

Last week: #12
In her first proper night as Knockouts Executive, Brooke Hogan made her first match. She made a four way match to determine the number one contender for Gail’s title, pitting four good friends against each other. The head Knockout also gave Velvet an opportunity to be in a music video.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#10 – LAYLA

Last week: #3
For the second week now Divas champion Layla hasn’t been seen at all, and for the third week she’s not been in the ring! Where oh where is our new Divas champ?!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#9 – MADISON RAYNE

Last week: #9
Keeping her spot this week is the ‘Queen Bee’ Madison Rayne. She continued to scout her crush this week. Just who could it be? I’ve said for weeks and I’m gonna say tonight that it’s Garrett Bischoff.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#8 – BETH PHOENIX

Last week: #1
Our number one last week was nowhere to be seen this week therefore the dominant Glamazon drops down the list.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#7 – PAIGE

Last week: #10
After manipulating (well, it didn’t take much manipulating but hey) the FCW General Manager into believing that her Anti-Diva partner Sofia Cortez is “always hurt”, Paige got put into a match instead of her.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#6 – GAIL KIM

Last week: #2
Knockouts champion Gail Kim didn’t appear on Impact this week, but she will be defending her Knockouts championship against Brooke Tessmacher tonight. This will be the second time these two clash on PPV for the gold.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#5 – MAXINE

Last week: #5
Keeping her spot on the ‘Top 12′ this week at number five is the ever-so-naughty Maxine. Maxine may not have done appeared this week, but word on the street is WWE and Vince is very high on her! If you want it come and get it..

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#4 – ODB

Last week: #N/A
ODB was lucky enough to actually have a match this week and with that, she won! The Knockouts Tag champ finally wrestled and beat Angelina Love on Xplosion. BAMMMMM!!!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#3 – TAMINA SNUKA

Last week: #N/A
Tamina Snuka managed to break the hart of Natalya on NXT when she hit the Superfly Splash on her for the victory. The two had an outstanding match and we hope to see them square off again soon.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#2 – AJ LEE

Last week: #6
Geek turned weirdo AJ Lee, cranked up the crazy this week, stalking Kane on Smackdown after giving him a very, very creepy smile on RAW – making him leave the ring!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#1 – BROOKE TESSMACHER

Last week: #N/A
In a brilliant showing by Brooke Tessmacher, the native Texan managed to pick up a huge victory over three of her fellow Knockouts in a four way match and become the number one contender – once again – to Gail Kim’s Knockouts championship! Tonight the Asstastic Knockout takes on Gail once again for the championship.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

That concludes this weeks ‘Top 12′ rankings. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices by voting in the poll below, sounding off in comments or sending us a tweet at @OSDivalicious_.

  1. David says:

To be fair, while Gail didn’t wrestle this week, she was on commentary during the #1 contenders match. But overall, I agree with your list, including #1.
