The Top 12: June 3rd

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#12 – BROOKE HOGAN

Last week: #12
Finally Brooke Hogan made her Impact Wrestling debut as the Knockouts Executive, but it left a lot to be desired. She and Dixie Carter had a big thank you and love fest in the middle of the ring and there were no Knockouts matches featured on the show at all. Let’s hope Brooke can step up her game next week.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#11 – ALICIA FOX

Last week: #11
Alicia Fox lost to Beth Phoenix on WWE Superstars but she put on a hell of an effort so the foxy Diva keeps her spot on the ‘Top 12′ this week.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#10 – THE ANTI-DIVAS

Last week: #6
After confronting Raquel Diaz on her dropping out of the Anti-Diva movement last week on FCW, Paige got the championship match she wanted. Paige dominated most of the match and when Sofia went to give her a chair to finish Diaz off, the Divas champ took a page out of her father’s book and got Paige disqualified.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#9 – MADISON RAYNE

Last week: #5
Madison Rayne was seen backstage this week on Impact, talking to her crown and her sash. Has she gone coocoo?!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#8 – VELVET SKY

Last week: #N/A
The pigeons were let loose on Xplosion when Velvet Sky defeated her former tag team partner Angelina Love once again with the In Yo Face! Holler holler holler holler!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#7 – RAQUEL DIAZ

Last week: #10
“We lie, we cheat, we steal” is something Raquel Diaz obviously has learnt very well from her Hall of Famer father, Eddie Guerrero. To win the match with the ref distracted, Raquel threw a chair at Paige (who caught it!) and threw herself on the mat, causing Paige to get DQ’d and Diaz to retain her championship! It looks like she is gonna be FCW Divas champion forever, and ever, and ever and ever and ever!!!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#6 – AJ LEE

Last week: #7
What is she DOING?! On RAW, AJ Lee gave CM Punk a chair to hit Kane with, then on Smackdown she finally stood up to Daniel Bryan, telling him it sounds like he is jealous of her and Punk’s ‘relationship!’

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#5 – MAXINE

Last week: #4
Maxine took a back seat to wrestling this week and sat at the commentary table, dissing Kaitlyn’s two tone hair.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#4 – KAITLYN

Last week: #8
Kaitlyn is on a roll! The NXT winner continues to impress with her submission holds and wrestling ability. In a very back and forth match, Kaitlyn managed to tame the Samoan Diva Tamina and make her tap out to her new submission hold.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#3 – LAYLA

Last week: #2
The Divas champion Layla was nowhere to be seen this week and that’s not good!

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#2 – GAIL KIM

Last week: #1
After calling out and beating the Knockouts Tag champs last week, Gail Kim was nowhere to be seen this week so her momentum has stopped dead in her tracks.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

#1 – BETH PHOENIX

Last week: #3
The Glamazon shoots up to the top of the list this week after continuing her dominant streak by defeating Alicia Fox on Superstars, hitting her with the devastating Glam Slam.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

That concludes this weeks ‘Top 12′ rankings. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices by voting in the poll below, sounding off in comments or sending us a tweet at @OSDivalicious_.
