After the news about Sara Del Rey apparently getting offered a WWE contract earlier today, rumour has it that indy star Mercedes Martinez recieved a WWE tryout down at FCW the same time as Del Rey. Mercedes is classed as one of the best female wrestlers on the circuit and has wrestled for many promotions including SHIMMER, World Xtreme Wrestling, Wrestlicious and even represented SHIMMER in Ring of Honor. Martinez previously wrestled in a WWE match on Heat, many years ago against then WWE Diva Victoria – TNA’s Tara – which you can watch here.

Also, WWE are said to be interested in signing the now former TNA Knockout Angelina Love. Angelina was signed to WWE’s developmental Deep South Wrestling facility from 2004 up until her release in 2007. The reason behind her release and never being called up to the main roster, according to Tommy Dreamer (who worked for DSW at the time) exclusively told OhSoDivalicious that it was because Angelina had far too many tattoos.
