Time for new Knockouts Tag Team Champions
I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that the 15th of April episode of Impact Wrestling – the pay-per-view Lockdown – was the last time we seen Eric Young and ODB competing as a tag team and right now the male female pairing of women’s tag team champions, currently hold the longest reign of any team to ever hold the titles and they’ve done literally nothing with them. Didn’t Hamada and Awesome Kong get stripped of the belts for not defending the titles for thirty days?
When they won the belts, it baffled me and the whole wrestling world, and with news that Eric Young will be returning full time to Impact Wrestling, it’s about time to give this team a quick defeat and brush their reign under the rug as if it never happened. Live Impact airs tonight so what better way to kick it off than to have brand new tag champs. We take a quick look at four teams, eligible for the tag team gold.
SARITA & ROSITA
The Knockouts of dominant stable Mexican America are another couple who haven’t been seen in TNA in a very long time. Sarita and Rosita are former Knockouts Tag champs – Sarita holding the belt on not one occasion with Rosita, but on a second too with former Knockout Taylor Wilde. Mexican America could make their well needed return tonight on live Impact and defeat the husband wife couple to capture the second reign as a team.
Goldust’s Favourite Women Wrestlers
Former WWE Superstar Dustin Rhodes – better known to everyone as Goldust - recently just took to his Twitter page to answer fans questions about his favourite wrestlers, and his top lists of wrestlers – this included the women too!
When quizzed about the WWE Divas division, Goldust commented on his five WWE Divas right now, past and his favourite Divas of all time. His top five current WWE Divas are the current reigning WWE Divas champion, Layla, RAW General Manager AJ Lee, Eve Torres, Kaitlyn & Kelly Kelly. His top five past Divas include Trish Stratus, Lita, Jacqueline (who he also dubbed the greatest heel Diva), Bertha Faye & himself – Goldust! But his favourite Divas of all time are Vickie Guerrero and former Divas Brie and Nikki Bella, The Bella Twins.
He then went on to say his top five women wrestlers are current WWE Diva Natalya, Sara Del Rey, Madusa (Alundra Blayze), Bull Nakano and Hall of Famer Sherri Martel. Speaking of Natalya, someone asked him what he thought of her and he said she is “a beautiful wrestler.”
Moving onto the TNA Knockout side of things, Goldust listed his top five Knockouts as Christy Hemme, Madison Rayne, Tara, TNA Knockouts champ Brooke Tessmacher and former Knockout, Velvet Sky. He also said Angelina Love is in his top ten.

A ‘Flawless’ New Addition!
The McCool-Calaway family has just become a little bit more FLAWLESS!! Gunner Calaway – oldest son & stepson of the Undertaker & Michelle McCool – Tweeted the former Divas & Women’s Champion has given birth to a baby girl!

Cameron Lynn Arrested For DUI!
Uh oh! Looks like we have a new case of Divas Behaving Badly! PWInsider has reported that Funkadactyl Cameron Lynn – real name Ariane Andrew – was arrested over the weekend, completely flying under the radar until now. Cameron was arrested around 3 AM last Friday in Hillsborough County, Florida on a charge of Driving Under the Influence. She was later released after a $500 bail bond.
In an interesting note, Cameron also kept her current place of employment under wraps. She listed herself as a “Wells Fargo sales associate” instead of a WWE employee. Click here to view her mugshot.
VERY disappointing to hear about this. Drunk driving is serious business, especially in the wake of Linda’s campaign for congress and WWE recently teaming up with MAAD. Cameron is extremely lucky that she, nor anyone else were hurt or killed. We hope this serves as a wake-up call for her!
Charlotte & Anya Profiled, Audrey and Raquel Get Makeovers On NXT.com!
The newly branded NXT website has undergone a facelift recently, giving the Divas page/photosection a much needed makeover as well! Last week we saw the additions of Emma and Skyler Moon and an update of Paige’s photo page. This week we were treated to two new additions and two new upgrades! NXT has added the profiles of Anya – a champion kickboxer/lawyer from Russia – and Charlotte – better known as the daughter of ‘the Nature Boy’ Ric Flair! – and updated the profiles of Audrey Marie and Raquel Diaz in her brand new ‘Ultra Diva’ gimmick! 4. Layla defeated Aksana to retain the WWE Divas Championship. Layla scored a pin.
5. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated The Prime Time Players in a street fight to retain the WWE Tag Titles. This was a fan’s choice match. Truth came out to his What’s Up music and the crowd was super excited to chant with him. Kofi and Truth actually lost the match because Darren Young pinned Kofi while Titus held Kofi’s foot on the rope. The PTP celebrated their victory until AJ came out and resumed the match because Kofi’s foot was on the ropes. Truth and Kofi immediately won once the match was resumed.
7. Antonio Cesaro (w/Aksana) defeated Zack Ryder to retain the U.S. Title. Ryder had the crowd behind him but ended up losing to Antonio.
Sioux Falls, SD 8/25/12
1. Brodus Clay b. Damien Sandow with the big splash. Short, nothing match – mostly comedy. Brodus brought in kids to dance with Naomi and Cameron after the match.
4. Naomi b. Natalya with a schoolgirl after Cameron distracted Natalya. Naomi replaced Kaitlyn, who was said to have had travel problems. This was seriously one of the best WWE women’s matches I’ve seen all year. Naomi did some really good athletic stuff, including a rana and a terrific looking dropkick, while Natalya did a great job of holding the match together.

Dixie Tweets Tweets Her LOVE
Dixie Carter, the one who likes to tweet all the time, took time from her very busy schedule to tweet about the latest IMPACT wrestling show. She stated the following:

It is so wonderful that Dixie loves to make her staff and employees feel so happy with their work. Maybe, one day they can produce a show that hits ratings over 3.0
Snooki’s Jersey Joy
In what could be considered wrestling related news, former Raw Guest Host and Wrestlemania “diva”, Snooki (real name Nicole Polizzi) gave birth to a baby boy last night. She took to twitter to say the following tweet:
I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD! ❤
We would like to congratulate this “Jersey girl” and her fiance, Jionni LaValle on this child. Best of luck in all their future endeavors for all parties involved!
