Former WWE Diva Blogs on Her Release
November 21st, 2010 | C0mments

On Twitter, former WWE Tiffany posted another blog, which addressed her recent release from the WWE:

I am sad that I won’t be able to work with Drew. He is the best thing in my life and I know he is going to do amazing things with WWE. WWE is still a major part of my family and will always be. I am so proud of my husband and will be his biggest cheerleader. If it wasn’t for WWE, we would have never met. I love you Drew. Thanks for being my rock :)

I also want to note that you may now follow Tiffany @Taryn_Terrell.

Edit: She has also posted up a blog on her Myspace account, where she thanks everyone who has helped her. She talks about everyone from fellow Divas to those that she has trained with. You can view it by clicking here.

JR on NXT Season #3
September 8th, 2010 | C0mments

Jim Ross took to his blog to comment about NXT season three, including who he thinks is favourite to win the contest!

The first NXT season 3 broadcast featuring all Divas is different. I’m willing to give the concept a chance to hook me unlike some who have emailed me lambasting the process after an hour or less of watching it. Seems like some were harder on certain folk’s dancing which was an attempt at entertainment than they were simply looking at the potential of the Divas. I’ve seen some of these ladies in FCW and was impressed with various aspects of each of their game. Naomi, obviously, is a gifted athlete clearly became the early favorite to win the competition in season three.

I could just have just seen my big ass up in the ring Tuesday night ‘dancing’ if I had been on the broadcast team. Happy to have been watching on Syfy. Those who were doing some ‘dancing’ were merely doing their jobs folks, having fun and attempting to entertain us as directed. Many fans need to ‘Lighten Up Francis.’

Aloisia’s Response To Her Pre-WWE Pictorial
September 8th, 2010 | Comments (3)

It didn’t take long for Aloisia to respond to her suggestive pictures being spread around the internet, and I admire the way she handled things – Head on via a blog on her website. The following is from Aloisia’s official website:

This morning I was shocked to discover that a new rumor was circulating on the Web, pertaining to my removal from the NXT cast. According to articles posted on numerous websites, I was removed from NXT due to WWE discovering “erotic photos” from my past on the Web. While no specific source is named in the articles, the implication is that this information is coming from someone within WWE.

It must be quite horrible to wake up to a rumour and exposure of these pictures, Aloisia even admits to being embarrassed about them, due to her being a little out of shape at the time:

I find them embarrassing, not because they’re particularly “erotic”, but because I was overweight and out-of-shape when they were taken five years ago and because they’re amateurishly shot. I’m sure everyone who’s reading this has some pictures somewhere that you’d rather not have published on the Web for the whole world to see. Unfortunately, part of the price of celebrity is the fact that people dig around in your past to try to find ways to exploit you as a means of increasing their own readership.

To put these pictures in their proper context, I was an 18 year old kid at the time most of them were taken. I had recently left home because I was being abused by my mother’s new husband and was on my own with no money and no parental guidance. I met a photographer who offered me some money to take pictures and being both stupid and desperate, I consented to doing a photo session. To all those who would judge me, I would ask you to honestly ask yourself what you might have done had you been in my situation. I’m not proud of having done this, but there’s nothing I can do to go back and change the past. It is what it is. For what it’s worth, none of the pictures are nude and most of them are less suggestive than what you see on current WWE programming.

You can read the full blog here, where she’s even posted a link to the pictures herself.

Jim Ross Blogs on Luna Vachon
August 28th, 2010 | Comments (2)

Photobucket

Luna Vachon has passed away and  well, Jim Ross blogged a bit about it on his official site–www.jrsbarbq.com. It’s wonderful to see how Jim Ross, other coworkers, and fans have been complimenting and keeping up her legacy.

It is said that death comes in three’s. Apparently that’s morbidly correct. Upon hearing of Luna Vachon’s passing this morning came another reminder that no one is guaranteed tomorrow.

The exact cause of Luna’s passing has not been determined but 48 is much too young for anyone to be taken from this world and our sincere condolences go out to Luna’s family and the many friends that she had in and out of the wrestling business.

For more of JR’s blog, continue.

We Are The Champions, My Friends…
August 25th, 2010 | C0mments

Melina’s latest blog, entitled “Champions”, gives a little insight to her mind as she holds womens’ gold through the Divas Championship for the fifth time. She talks about the definition of a champion and how it defines her, as the most dominant Diva in the WWE.

I am so thankful for all of the Tweets and support I have gotten regarding winning the Diva’s Championship. It’s unreal. My fifth title reign and it’s an astounding accolade. Everything in my life leading to that point in time…. the bad and good; all the hardships, all the haters who judged me with out even getting to know me & much more. On the other side I’ve been blessed to have the people that have touched my life and made that win at Summer Slam an unforgettable moment that will be treasured for the rest of my life. Thank you for that.

I have said this many of times; the title does not define me, I define the title. Many women through out wrestling history have defined the titles they fought for. Their love, desire, pride and respect gave their titles significance. These women stood for something; affected people’s lives; caused change… They are the ones that changed a piece of shiny metal into a prestigious symbol to be held by the greats.

Just because a person holds a title doesn’t make them a champion. We have seen people Forrest Gump their way to a title. Granted, a win is a win, but a champion is a champion with or without the title. To be a true champion is rare, and it can’t be faked. When a champion holds a title, they give it meaning.

-dictionary definition of “champion”– A person who has defeated all opponents in competition, a fighter/ warrior… a person who fights for or defends any person or cause.

Being the kind of champion I’m talking about is more than holding the coveted Championship in your hands for all to see. It’s how you carry yourself. What you stand for. Overcoming obstacles. Standing up/fighting for what you love and cherish.

Whether I am seen as a champion or not, I put my heart into an art that I believe in. I fight because I love it, even when it doesn’t seem to love me.

“Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. – It’s harsh, and cruel. But that’s why there’s us. Champions. It doesn’t matter where we come from, what we’ve done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world was what it should be, to show it what it can be.”

I have faith that women’s wrestling can be great and it can be more than what it is. I know it will be. Through it all, I hope to help add honor to the adorned championship and live up to what it means to be a Champion.

Love Always and Forever,
The Most Dominant Diva in the WWE,
-Melina

Lisa Varon’s Just Catching Up…
August 16th, 2010 | Comments (1)

What has former TNA Knockout Lisa Varon, also known as Tara/Victoria been up to? She’s one to Tweet nowadays, but she’s taken the time to blog about the passing of former WWE Superstar Lance Cade, who passed away recently aged only 29. She talks about the issues that were raised up about Dawn Marie’s Wrestlers Rescue charity and also mentions what she’ll be up to in the following week.

Hey MySpacers !!!

I prefer to keep in touch with tweets or status updates, but I have a lot going on, so I thought I’d blog about it.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Lance Cade passing the other day. I saw him not too long ago, and he seemed perfectly fine. I get the question often about how to get into wrestling. My first response is that it is important to have something to fall back on, and you’ve got to love to wrestle. Professional wrestling can be an amazing experience. But it takes a tremendous physical toll on a person. Through my WWE training, I spent about a year at Memphis Championship Wrestling. Lance is the third wrestler under 30 to pass who I knew from MCW. They were all great guys, and they will all be missed.

I want to talk about former WWE Diva Dawn Marie. I have heard through the grapevine that she created a charity, and there have been some questions about it. First, I never worked one of her shows, and I don’t even think that I know anyone who has worked her shows. But I want to say this: I worked with her at WWE. She was always a friendly and positive person, and I have nothing but good things to say about working with her. I hope whatever questions are out there with her charity are answered in a positive way.

I think I mentioned that I went to the Bellator MMA fights in Louisville a couple months ago along with my BJJ coach. I met with their matchmaker, and not too long ago they offered me the opportunity to fight at their September show. I appreciate the opportunity. Some parts of what they were offering were very intriguing. Some parts, not so much. Bottom line, I just notified them that since we don’t have a deal in place at this point, we are too close to the date for me to be ready the way I want to be ready. But we are continuing to talk, and I hope to come to terms for a Spring 2011 fight.

Finally, I will be at the Chicago Comic Con Friday, August 20th through Sunday, August 22nd . I have lived in Chicago before. I love that city. I’m going to stick around a couple days afterward and do a little house hunting for a possible move.

Keep in touch. Talk to you laters, Taters.

Lisa Marie :)

Melina: “Are you a Talker? or a DOer?”
August 14th, 2010 | C0mments

Before Melina faces Alicia Fox for the Divas Championship this Sunday at SummerSlam, she’s taken the time out to write yet another blog on her WWE Universe page. Melina’s blogs always seem to be a rather interesting read, and this one is no different. Check it out below.

I’m going to touch base on a lot of things in this blog. I just know there is a lot of pressure on so many levels and a lot of emotions going into Summer Slam this sunday. I have been sidelined for SO long yet this is all happening so fast. But I am thankful it is all happening the way it is because Summer Slam is in Los Angeles and I will have my family there. Not all of the them have been to a live event and to have it be Summer Slam AND a Title Match…. It’s unreal and utterly perfect. Win or Lose, I have accomplished so much. That is something no one can take away from me and I can’t lose.

Now talking about the title. Any title is an honor and a privilege. A victory of what you have accomplished and what you have gone through in life. I have fought through so much on this road. I still kept on the path because I knew in my heart what I was capable of, what my heart loved and what I was eager to be better at. The championship is a symbol that I was worthy, that I had a purpose. It was a reward for all that I have been through and sacrificed. When I think of all the people who said it couldn’t be done and wanted to see me fail. I know I have said all this before and how holding it gives you flashes of all the greats who have held it before you. It is a symbol of respect, dedication, perseverance and sacrifice. Perhaps not all people win the title for those reasons but the ones who last, the ones who keep fighting for it, do. Even when great champions lose the title….. everything the title represents still stands true; and is always worth fighting for.

Life is unpredictable and in wrestling, the best wrestler in the world can lose on any given day. It doesn’t mean they aren’t good enough, strong enough or they’re losing their touch. It probably wasn’t their day or there may have been a simple mistake that can lead to a loss…. we are only human. It is what we do after a loss that determines our strength of character and if we are worthy to hold a title. The truth is, win or lose this Sunday, I’m extraordinarily grateful to simply be back in the ring.

I know we see wrestlers come back from injury as if the injury never happened; but it did. The pain and frustration is all too real. The surgeries are real. The physical therapy is real. And the heartache from it is ALL real. But together with that is the love and the passion that I feel with coming back; pushing through the pain and the fear. No one comes back from injury as strong physically as we were before; but I have become stronger mentally. Isn’t that something?! The will of man (or woman :p).

I’m not in the shape I was prior to injury, or in the shape I will be in a month from now, but I am back to training harder than ever, to get better. I can’t miraculously be perfection after being out for 8 months. Others may be able to; but, unfortunately, I am not them. I am proud of how far I’ve come in recovery. I will be be better than I have ever been and I will continue to make these strides and aim for that championship. I won’t rest until I get it back.

I have this quote in my head from Boondock Saint’s 2…. This may not be exact but I think it goes like this:

“You got two kinds of people in this world. You’ve got your talkers, and you’ve got your doers. Most people are just talkers. All they got is talk. But when all is said and done, the doer’s change the world. And when they do that, they change us. And that’s why we never forget them. So which one are you. Do you just talk about it, or do you want to do something about it?”

The Original Most Dominant Diva in the WWE & a DOer!

Melina: “I’m Back!”
August 8th, 2010 | Comments (1)

Upon her return to Monday Night Raw, Melina took the time to blog about it on her WWE Universe page.

I’m back and it is an unbelievable feeling!!!!! I have so much love, appreciation and gratitude for everything… Everyone. I’m always going to take in every single moment I can and treasure this all.

I originally wanted to tell all of you that I didn’t want to say much. I can say and write all the words I want…. say how I’m getting the title back and how I’m going to show the world what wrestling means to me. All of it is true and I love telling all of you what is in my heart, but I rather show you. I am NOT going to be all talk. I am going to go out there and give you everything I can. To create magic and to keep improving.

This has been a crazy journey for me. I look back and am amazed at all the stuff I have been through to get to this point. The negativity, the rejection, the jealousy and the ridicule. I was told I wouldn’t make it and I was never going to be a decent wrestler. Whether I am or not is a matter of opinion I suppose but the fact is I have reached this point against all odds.

Sunny’s Two Cents On Missy Hyatt’s Blog
July 28th, 2010 | C0mments

Yesterday, we posted about a blog Missy Hyatt posted where she defends Dawn Marie and the whole issue about Dawn’s charity, Wrestler’s Rescue. Tammy Sytch, better known as Sunny has fired up her leathal weapon, Facebook in case you were wondering, and has denied any current involvement with the charity.

I have absolutely no involvement with Wrestler’s Rescue, and do not have any knowledge of their business practices. Although I have heard rumors about wrong-doings involving money, I do not believe them to be true. But once again, I am not a part of the above stated company.

I tried to help Dawn with the booking agency part over 6 months ago…. that lasted 3 weeks, and it was HELP not WORK. i didnt take a dime, b/c nothing came about in the agency,. and I told her I didnt want any part of it. Everything she does is half assed, so nothing works.

Missy Hyatt Speaks on Dawn Marie
July 28th, 2010 | Comments (4)

The First Lady of Wrestling, Missy Hyatt, took time out of her day to blog about  Dawn Marie and Wrestler’s Rescue. Missy Hyatt has been actively involved in this charity.  So naturally the allegations not only hurt the credibility of  Dawn Marie, Wrestler’s Rescue, but also Missy Hyatt.  Here’s what she stated:

I hate how so many people jumped on the band wagon that Dawn is a fraud before they ever allowed her a forum to defend herself. I’m a personal friend of Dawn, so naturally I will defend her. People who are bashing Dawn forget to realize the expense of legal fees, corporation fees, phones, & misc. to maintain a charity . Guess who swallowed any losses & upstart fees to Wrestlers Rescue? DAWN!!!! What ever profits that trickled in with ebay sales, auctions, went in to some holding account. I know for a fact that Steve Williams was sent approximately $5000.00 to help off set mounting medical expenses prior to his untimely death. I know an additional $2000 was donated in conjunction from the Cauliflower Alley Club.

I am very upset that everybody who is associated with Dawn was lumped in as thieves or con artist on various message boards without anybody asking for a statement or any proof. To my knowledge, only one person in the wrestling business decided to distance them self based on the recent negative article that was circulating.

When Dawn filed for the 501(c)(3) paper work to become a non profit charity it needed a corporate structure to be shown in the paper work. This is why I am listed as secretary. I started all of that paperwork before having it out sourced to an attorney to be completed.

The 501(c)(3) filling is a long tedious headache of paper work to fill out and file. I believe it took Dawn almost a year to have it all sorted & filed. The actual 501(c)(3) company is listed as Pro Wrestling Releif, (Dawn already had Wrestlers Rescue LLC organized and filed as a for Profit so we could begin the work that needed to be done.). I know Dawn personally shelled out a few thousand dollars in filing the 501(c)(3) paper work & the lawyer fees that took to complete it. As a 501(c)(3) they are eligible for tax free status and grants.

My participation within Wrestlers Rescue consisted of signing for free at Dawn’s convention, raffling a gift basket at the Paul E Normous memorial show, agreeing to be on the cancelled cruise, & helping Dawn gather the 501(c)(3) paper work [which was completed by a lawyer]. Various people accused me and others of having our hands in the cookie jar, despite NEVER handling or having any access to any money. I guess asking me about my participation would be too much of an oversight. To my knowledge, the participation of most wrestlers was either volunteering their services & donating memorabilia in order to be used for fund raising purposes. To call any wrestler a thief would be grossly inaccurate, since we never handled the financial aspects of the charity.

Tammy to my knowledge only did the convention, some miscellaneous errands, agreed to be on the cruise & be apart of a book deal that will be out for release in 2011. Tammy did not have any access to any money. Rather then mention what her actual participation was for Wrestlers Rescue, Tammy released statements that hurt everyone that has volunteered their services to Wrestlers Rescue. Though her comments may have hurt many of us on a personal & business level I can understand if she may have reacted out of fear and concern for herself. The way everyone had reacted and smeared this obvious smear campaign is scary.

Like I stated earlier, Dawn will release a statement showing her innocence & the lack of research done in the many malicious articles. My personal feelings are a friend defends each other until there is proof that shows that they are guilty. I’m defending Dawn until I see proof that she misappropriated funds. I believe in Dawn based on the character of her as a person, rather then just blindly throw accusations without her side of the story.
