Looks like Vince has a new favorite Diva Du Jour! It’s been reported that Vince is very high on former Divas Champion Eve Torres, hense why she was recently given the role as John Laurinitis’ Executive Administrator. Vince is a huge fan of her work eithic (and if you have seen how she has evolved over the past few years, you will understand why!) and has been a fan of hers for the past year. Will this new promotion lead to a huge push?

The Divas are about to get extreme this Sunday! WWE.com has announced that Beth Phoenix will have her Divas Championship rematch at Extreme Rules. The Pin-Up Strong Diva dropped the belt to Nikki Bella this past Raw in a suprise Lumberjill match set up by the newly named Executive Administrator Eve Torres. Will the Glamazon be able to reclaim the butterfly belt? Will Nikki retain? Or will naughty girl Eve abuse her power and inject herself into the match? Could we see a surprise return (ie. Layla or Kharma)? Be sure to tune in Sunday for the answer to all these questions and more!

WWE’s Greatest Tag Teams list has just gotten a whole lot more flawless! Former Women’s and Divas champions Layla and recently retired Michelle McCool – AKA ‘Team LayCool‘ – make their mark on the list at #36. Here is what WWE had to say about the saucy duo:

Real talk. Latent sexism will lead many to balk at the idea that two Divas earned their way onto a list dominated by Superstars, but the truth is no duo terrorized their division quite like Michelle McCool and Layla in 2009.

Gleefully evil, unflinchingly vicious and better looking than everyone on this list besides Rick Martel, Team Lay-Cool tormented their opponents to the point that Mickie James broke down in tears when they infamously dubbed her “Piggie James” in front of a disgusted crowd. They were a nightmare, a pair of Roddy Pipers in press-on nails who toted around a bifurcated Divas Championship as if it was their very own tag title. Lay-Cool weren’t just attitude, though. When an unfortunate victim finally worked up the courage to fight back, Mich would kick them in the face while Lay cackled in the corner. They were wicked, but being bad never looked so good

LayCool disbanded after last year’s Extreme Rules in a ‘Loser Leaves WWE’ match, in which we saw Layla come up the winner, and Michelle saying a tearful goodbye to the WWE Universe. Whether you loved them, hated them, or just simply loved to hate them, there was no denying that these women were simply flawless!

As suspected, Nikki Bella may well be the new number one contender for the WWE Divas championship after her pinfall victory over Beth Phoenix two weeks ago on Smackdown. In a WWE.com exclusive, Nikki with her sister Brie, are interviewed. Brie says Nikki hasn’t got a title shot because she picked Team Teddy at WrestleMania and Johnny hasn’t forgiven her. She goes on to say how Maria Menounos pinned Beth twice and that the champ is a joke!

Beth Phoenix creeps up on the twins. She says she’ll go right ahead and give Nikki what she wants, mainly because she only wants to find out if she hurts one twin, the other will feel the same pain! Check it out below.

Lilian Garcia has always had trouble making friends in the WWE, maybe she’s too nice? Well, this past Friday in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the lovely Lilian nearly came to blows with a certain third generation Diva after an apparant heated confrontation! Garcia shoved Natalya’s jacket back at her following Nattie’s loss to AJ.

Then again in Manchester, England, the two nearly came to blows yet again and the same thing happened yet again. Taking to her twitter page, Natalya said:

@Natbynature: I didn’t appreciate Lilian Garcia’s attitude tonight throwing my jacket at me! Watch yourself ya little mutt!

Oh snap! Let’s hope some of this plays off on TV, it’d be great to see another angle going on in the Divas division.

Rumours of a WWE depature have been floating around the net this past week about our favourite wrestling twins, Nikki and Brie, but instead of worrying about whether the former Diva Searchers are sticking around in the WWE, all those bad boyfriends out there need to worry about the twins Bella Busting their ass!

Nikki and former Divas champion Brie, have starred in a short feature for the TV network, Mun2, called “How to Treat a Lady.” It shows three different scenarios where three bad boyfriends get a good ol’ thumping from the Bellas. Check it out below.

On her WWE release:

John Laurinaitis called and released me the day after my birthday. I was starting to do more mainstream things and they didn’t want to give me a pay raise. There were tons of opportunities elsewhere. They didn’t want to give me the opportunity to do other things.

On going back to wrestling:

I took a year off and got the itch. I have always had passion for wrestling; I watched when I was a kid.

On Twitter:

I want to come through the screen and strangle Michael Cole. He is not the person that should be talking about trends. ROH is more concerned with who is seeing the show than who is talking about it on Twitter.

Welcome to Wrestlemania 28! 

Despite not being healthy enough to do coverage, I will do my coverage anyway since WrestleMania is ONLY once a year.

I will be back to covering Raw and WWE PPVs in May since I will receive surgery this coming week.

Pre WrestleMania Match

Epico & Primo vs. Usos vs. Tyson & Gabriel saw the tag champs (Epico & Primo) win. Rosa Mendes was pleased.

Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee are backstage in an interview. They kiss and AJ does the “YES” dance like a silly.

Now it’s time for Mania.

Lilian Garcia does a TREMENDOUS  job with the anthem.

AJ Lee  helps Daniel Bryan to the ring. She gives him a kiss and Daniel gets flatten by Sheamus.

AJ tries to console the former champion. BLESS!

Backstage, Team Johnny is babbling. Miz tries a pep talk but Brie Bella and Vickie Guerrero give him scary looks.  David Otunga (who thinks he is a stripper) drinks his FAKE coffee everywhere.

Just to let people know, Wrestlemania 29 is in New Jersey. VERY CLOSE TO THIS HAPPY LADY!

We see a hype video for divas (all divas minus Kharma and Maxine were shown!) Lots of Layla shown! (Plus, throughout the night we seen footage of the Mania  week featuring superstars and divas!)

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Eve Torres & WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix

Eve comes out with Beth (who thinks she is a bird).  Kelly Kelly and Maria then come out.  K2 and Eve start out. They roll around. Kelly takes Eve to the corner for the back elbow  to no avail. . Eve goes up top for the moonsault but Kelly knocks her down. Maria tags in. She and Kelly do a double “sweet face” to Eve in the corner. Eve takes Maria down  and spanks her everywhere.

Finally, Maria tags K2 back in. K2 goes nuts on Beth.   K2 goes up top and hits Molly Holly’s  Molly-Go-Round pinning Beth but  Eve breaks it up. K2 blocks the Glam Slam into a bulldog.  Maria takes ninety years to go on top. Beth lifts Maria over head until Kelly makes the save. They do a dance and Maria rolls up Beth for the win.

Winners: Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos

They honor the HOF’ers.  Congratulations to them all!!!

Brie Bella introduces Team Johnny, who have Vickie Guerrero as the flag bearer.  Nikki Bella introduces Team Teddy, who has Eve sniffing Zack Ryder and Aksana sniffing Teddy.  Vickie cackles EVERYWHERE! She and Aksana get into a catfight which the Bellas join in for fun.

At the end of the match, Eve rolls in and fist pumps with Zack  distracting him, so he loses for his team. BLESS. After the match, she kicks him in the now flat balls.

Why didn’t Aksana rip her weave off?

Torrie Wilson is sitting in the front row with an idiot.

For some reason,  I’m still swooning over how nice CM PUNK looked in his suit in the Hall of Fame. Bless me.

Cameron and Naomi dance with Brodus Clay. Brodus’ MOMMA and her Bridge club dance. They have scared my Uncle, which I’m eternally grateful to them. THANK YOU!

I would like to know if catering at this event was any good….

In light of the drama surrounding the future of FCW, let’s focus on some good news! It’s being reported that WWE officials are high on their newest Diva Sofia Cortez – best known as former Tough Enough contestant Ivelisse Velez! They believe that Sofia is a natural, and is already ranked as one of the top 3 workers in the company. Here’s hoping she’ll be called up to the main roster soon! If you haven’t seen her work, check out this match below!

Former WWE Diva Maryse was in Cleveland, Ohio last night to spend time with boyfriend and WWE Superstar The Miz, as well as other members of the WWE crew after last night’s Raw. The group hit a local bar after the show.
