Due to my absence from the site, my NXT Best Coverage hasn’t been posted. Trisha kindly covered MAXINE’S ELIMINATION which I still haven’t gotten over. =’((!! Anyways, the past two weeks on NXT have been pretty full of action and boy, it’s been full of drama! So, lets start off with last weeks episode which was centered around the fallout of the latest disastrous WWE wedding.

The show goes to start off in it’s usual fashion, but Matt Striker is interupted by Goldust. Goldie demands his wife come down to the ring right away to explain herself… and she does, with the Million Dollar championship on her shoulder. She asks Goldust what’s wrong and if he’s heartbroken. She looks so much more confident as a baddie! She acknowledges Goldust helped her, as her immigration problems are over. Her pro goes on and asks her if she’s gonna keep the title which is hoisted up on her shoulder. She giggles and says “Don’t be ridiculous, it’s not like yours anyway!”, which is true! She says when they get divorced, she’ll get to stay in the USA and get half a million dollars before starting a USA chant. Goldust calls her a clueless conniving little Lithuanin witch! Goldust wants to kick Aksana out the building, but Naomi comes out. She says she doesn’t want Aksana kicked out and gets a massive “WHO ARE YA?!” chant. She says she always saw through Aksana. Aksana says it’s not true and if they sent her back to Lithuania she would get beaten with shovels! Naomi wants Aksana one on one in a wrestling match, so Aksana asks her pro Goldust for advice. LMFAO. He says that his wife should face Naomi and get her butt kicked!

We go backstage to Kaitlyn and a random man. Mrs Guerrero walks in and taps her on the shoulder. Vickie says beating Kaitlyn on Smackdown proves she’s better than her. She says Kaitlyn isn’t worthy to be her rookie. She gives Kaitlyn an “FYI” saying Dolph said she’s nowhere near the woman Kaitlyn is. Kaitlyn agrees and makes fun of Vickie’s size. Vickie growls and smacks Kaitlyn in the face. Kaitlyn rams her into some crates so Vickie grabs ahold of her head and bashes it off the catering table several times! Excuse me KAITLYN!

Also on NXT… The first challenge of the night was an arm wrestling contest, which Kaitlyn wins as Aksana gets herself disqualified for hair pulling! Watch? Another challenge involved the rookies guessing who the current Superstars and Divas were by their high school photos. A.J. won. Watch? There was also two matches! In a suprisingly good match, rookie Diva A.J. defeated the naughty Nikki Bella, who pulled out a lot of dirty stunts. Watch? In the main event, Naomi defeated the Million Dollar rookie, Aksana! Trisha’s taking over the NXT Best Coverage to catch up with last week’s antics and possibly this week’s too. Sorry for the lateness, I’ve just been able to catch it (Thanks to V+, yay!) since the version Jokerwilds uploaded was rather STRANGE. It has the production people talking over it and stuff, talking about when music should be played and although it’s interesting, it gets a bit annoying – I wanted NXT, not the backstage/behind the scenes shebang. Anywho, let’s get on with it!

Tonight is a double whammy: The wedding of Goldust and Aksana, plus one of the wannabe Divas will be eliminated! After a lovely video package highlighting the past weeks, the NXT Rookies make their way down to the ring. Due to her wedding and tons of preperation that needs to be done (Come on ladies, we know it takes a while to get ready for a big event!) Aksana is excused from participating in any of the challenges. With no wins, there’s not a cat in Hell’s chance she has a chance of being immune to eliminations.

That being said, it’s time for the first of the Rookie Challenges of the night: A Kissing Contest! Who was the judge? None other than that little troll Hornswaggle! Kaitlyn’s the only one that had to pucker up and take one for the team since Maxine decided she wasn’t going to suffer the same fate. She sent Hornswaggle away, emphasising that he needed to GO. She event helped him out of the ring, how nice of her! The Rookies are left without a judge, but cue DASHING Cody Rhodes’ music and we have a new judge. And a very jealous Marcella. ;)

Starting all over again, Kaitlyn goes first. She insists that it’s the first time she’s kissed two guys in one night. Lies. Anywho, remember Cody’s tips on how to be dashing? Well, this is a little recap by the master himself – He pulls out some lip balm and puts some on as Kaitlyn watches impatiently. His tips seems to make her a little more wary about herself though, she checks her breath and smells her ‘pits – She’s good to go and they kiss. “Nothing?!” What has she got to lose? She goes again while Vickie Guerrero looks disgusted! Maxine’s next, she gets sprayed with breath spray then decides that Cody should kiss her hand. Well, she IS high-class. Naomi’s next and she doesn’t look amused. She wants the music to be stopped ‘cos she’s got something to say. Cody’s dashing and all, but she wouldn’t kiss him if he were the last man on Earth. Ouch! After kissing “them two” he must be crazy if he’s going to be kissing Naimz too. Double ouch! Well, apparently he’s got ladies carrying his bags and Naomi’s already got enough baggage of her own. LOL.

He keeps it movin’ onto the last person in the contest, A.J., who’s rather shy, but excited to kiss the dashing one. That is, until he starts filing her nails. At least he’s rooting for her, right? She gets down to business and wins the competition!

You make the rain fall! It’s Halloween week in the WWE apparantly, according to no personality commentator, Michael Cole. AJ Lee makes her way out first dressed as a ninja turtle! Naomi comes out in a hamburger helper outfit? I don’t get it. Kaitlyn comes out looking like Vickie Guerrero… exactly like Vickie Guerrero! Maxine is dressed as the Ice Queen! Aksana’s looking smoking dressed as a devil!

The first challenge is the Halloween costume contest. The crowd have to decide which Diva has the best costume. Aksana is first. “Aksana tonight is the devil” she says with the cutest smile ever! She prances about for a bit in her outfit. MAXINE is next. She says she can melt the outfit and send shivers up his sssssssssspine. She asks Striker if he knows what cold water does to a man and she would hate to embarras him. She ends her part by saying there’s only one spot for this Queen, and that’s on top!

Kaitlyn steps forward and yells EXCUSE ME! She mocks Vickie…. like a lot! She then trips over and throws a fit, much like Vickie! Aksana spanks her with her devil fork. Naomi the big weird hand woman, is next. She says what did the glove say to the face? Striker shrugs, so she yells SMACK and smacks him in the face with one of the fingers of the outfit. Everyone boos her as she chats some tripe. AJ Lee is next. Striker asks her what outfit she’s modelling. She says a lion. JOOOOOOKES! She’s a ninja turtle. She prances around with some knifes. Kaitlyn wins!

Naomi the hamburger helper hand vs. The Ice Queen Maxine: We learn that Max issued this match. The bell rings and the girls go to tie up but Maxine jumps behind Naomi and flings her to the floor. Maxine shoves her into the corner before getting reversed and thrown into the other corner. The big stupid hand then jumps on Maxine. She sorta awkwardly falls out of the ring, but the camera cuts to the commentators, so we don’t see what happens! Continue Reading… »

SORRY MATT! Vickie can’t sit there and listen to the way he talks to the rookies, it strikes a nerve inside of her. Excuse her. She asks Kaitlyn WHAT she was thinking when she put together that outfit and boy, she’s serious. She says she’s re-commiting herself to being her pro and helping her to win NXT. She says she looks bad, it’s bothering Vickie. She has a gift for Kaitlyn as she’s here to help her! She hands over a sweater. Everyone boos, EXCUSE ME! Kaitlyn throws it on the floor.

Maxine then screams at Kaitlyn. “Just put the sweatshirt on so we can move on with our lives” she says. She says Kaitlyn has no respect for Vickie. Maxine says she would take her as her pro, but Alicia Fox interupts. Foxy is insulted! Maxine says she has a lot of respect for Vickie, and for Alicia not to take it as an insult. Alicia says none offence taken but she will coach Maxine to beat Kaitlyn’s BUTT…. RIGHT NOW! Alicia and Maxine argue as Kaitlyn kicks the sweatshirt out of the ring.

Maxine vs. Kaitlyn: Kaitlyn is wearing the sweatshirt! We get a recap of Vickie vs. Kaitlyn from two weeks ago. The bell rings and the girls lock up. Kaitlyn shoves Maxine to the floor. They tie up again and Kaitlyn gets her in a rear waist lock and takes her down. She lifts her back up, keeping the hold in. Maxine tries to grab the ropes and eventually rlbows Kaitlyn in the head to power herself out. She runs off the ropes but runs into a shoulder block. Kaitlyn Irish whips her into the corner. The five girls that make the rain fall make their way out as NXT kicks off! Maxine makes her way out first, followed by Aksana, Kaitlyn, A.J. and Naomi. In THREE weeks time, the next rookie Diva gets eliminated and as for now, their competition wins are scrapped! We get started with our first challenge of the night – Guess The Tune! A.J. gets like a million points (1900 points) as she is a big nerd, and oh Naomi got like 100 points and nobody else scored anything if you were wondering. Maxine got BORED during the challenge and Kaitlyn complained that her air horn was broken.

Alicia Fox vs. Naomi: Alicia’s got a pretty new weave. Maxine takes a seat with the commentators as Kelly Kelly gets on the apron to cheer on her rookie Diva. The girls tie up to start off and Alicia forces Naomi into the corner. Naomi pushes Alicia out, to what Alicia says “BRING IT!” to. They go to tie up but Alicia sneakily grabs her wrist. She throws Naomi off, who rolls Alicia up for a one count! Both Divas quickly get up and charge at each other, but Fox knocks Naomi down with a shoulder block. Alicia grabs Naomi’s luminous weave and slings her into the corner. Alicia runs at her but Naomi jumps on over her head. Alicia charges at her again but Naimz leap frogs over her! The rookies make their way out to kick off NXT! We learn that there’s two challenges tonight and an elimination. There’s a challenge straight away – a mechanical bullriding contest. I hate these contests and things, so I skipped it to see who won. Aksana won, picking up her first challenge victory. Next up is Aksana vs. Maxine!

Team Gold are in the ring. Maxine and Alicia Fox then make their way out. The bell rings. They tie up and Aksana gets the upperhand with a wrist lock. She turns it into a hammerlock before Maxine smacks her in the head with an elbow. Aksana falls back into the corner, where Maxine smacks her some more with her elbow. She stomps on her before Aksana ducks a clothesline. Aksana hits a snapmare and goes for a pin. She only gets a two count!

Aksana lifts her up with a wrist lock but Maxine kicks her in the gut and hits a snappy neckbreaker. She pins for a two count. Maxine puts her in a wrist locks and takes her to the floor, locking her leg around Aksana’s head. The crowd get really behind Aksana as she rolls over into a pin. Maxine breaks out and charges at her with a clothesline. Aksana ducks and hits two of her own. Maxine gets up and gets booted in the side of the head by Aksana.

She throws Maxine into the corner and goes to run off, but Maxine charges at her with a clothesline from hell! She covers Aksana but Aksana rolls her over and gets the three count. Team Gold celebrate as Maxine scowls – she hasn’t won any matches or any challenges yet!

It’s now time for the rookie Diva talent competition! Aksana goes first. Aksana’s talent is push-ups. She bends down and puts her legs over her arms. This is very odd, yet an amazing talent..if you can call it a talent. Naomi is next. She starts to rap. I don’t know whether it’s just me, but does she mumble or what? The rap wasn’t too bad though, from what I could hear. A.J. is next. She says she’s gonna give Michael Cole a personality – everyone loved that! She then said her talent was flexibility. She starts bending in all directions. Former NXT ring announcer, Jamie Keyes, is up next. Her talent is turning men on. HOW IMMORAL. She comes onto Matt Striker and calls him hot. She sticks her tongue down his throat. Maxine is NOT impressed. Kaitlyn is covering her face in disgust it would seem. Aksana looks away as Naomi and A.J. just laugh.

Kaitlyn is up next! She’s an artist, so she’s gonna draw something. As she’s drawing, we keep getting shots of Vickie scowling. She shows her picture off to the world. It’s a stick person with smelly armpits and a big butt saying “EXCUSE ME!”. Kaitlyn says she’s got her down pretty well on the canvas and she can’t wait to get Vickie down on THE (the ring) canvas. Maxine is next. She says before she gets to her talent, she wants to apologise to Hornswoggle. We get a replay of what happened last week between Maxine and Hornsy. She has a pie that she baked especially for Hornswoggle! It would seem her talent would be cooking! He comes out and she says she’s truly sorry. She dips her finger in it and goes to taste it but she slaps it on his face. She laughs but he flips the pie up into her face. The crowd are going nuts – as is mad Maxine! Alicia Fox is not impressed with the little troll! The live audience choose Kaitlyn as the winner. But now A.J. and Kaitlyn have the same amount of wins to their name, the audience choose Kaitlyn to have the immunity.

Maxine looks disgusted at him. If he falls out of the wheelbarrow, the Diva gets disqualified. GO! Maxine slings the wheelbarrow at the finish line where Hornswoggle falls out. 14.7 seconds. She laughs at Hornswoggle and pushes him about a bit. He bites her ass and she flips out! Maxine’s gonna KILLLLLL SOMEONE! Naomi is next. 14.2 seconds. The Terminator, Jamie Keyes is next! 14.4 seconds. Jamie has beaten Maxine’s score – Maxine isn’t best pleased! Kaitlyn is up next. She tried getting in the wheelbarrow with Hornswoggle but got told off by Striker! She flung the wheelbarrow too and Hornsy went flying again. 12.0 seconds. Miss AJ Lee is next! She starts doing push ups then prances about. LMFAO! AJ gets in at the longest time. 17.7 seconds. Hornswoggle hugs AJ but won’t let go. The billion dollar baby from Lithuania, Aksana, is next! 13.9 seconds. Kaitlyn wins the competition! She hugs Hornsy and he lifts her up on his shoulders. Vickie yells at him to go away before hugging Kaitlyn, saying “good job.”

NXT Diva Profile – A.J. She’s from Union City, New Jersey. Her style is different as she’s representing all the nerds out there. She stayed at home on Saturday nights to play video games rather than go out clubbing, she’s a different kind of Diva! INSERT CHEESY LAUGHS HERE. Her parents didn’t earn a lot of money and she didn’t have a lot growing up. AJ’s dream was to always be a Diva. The passion and determination of AJ will get her to the end of NXT. She says none of them will get her down and there’s no getting rid of her!

NXT Diva Profile – Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn’s from Houston, Texas. She was a huge tomboy and played soccer for thirteen years! She did a lot of body building and says when she was on stage doing that, people only saw a two dimensional version of you, whereas in WWE, she can show off her personality. She says the other girls cannot do the robot. She says she wants to be funny and beautiful. She loves Beth Phoenix. She says she has a lot to learn and she wants it so bad that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get there. She ends by saying her name is Kaitlyn and she will be the next WWE Diva!

It’s time for Diss The Diva! The girls have an opportunity to tell the other Divas why they have no chance of being the next breakout Diva. Aksana is up first. She thanks Matt the darling, she tells people to look at her and she poses. She says she goes to the gym every morning. She does five hundred sit ups, five hundred crunches and runs ten miles everyday. She tells everyone to look at the other rookies. She says every morning they have pancakes before saying she’s a champion and all the other rookies wanna be like Aksana. AJ Lee is next. She says she’s gonna be the bigger woman and she’s not gonna put them down. She says she belongs there more than they do. She wants to redefine the word Diva. Divas can like video games, comic books, action movies, cars and not care about lipstick, pink and high heels. She says it’s about time WWE picks AJ.

Kaitlyn snatches the mic from AJ as she’s up next. She says before she disses everyone, she’s gonna do an impression. She sticks her butt out and waddles around, mocking Naomi. Naomi forcefully kicks her in the ass, sending her to the mat. Kaitlyn says it was uncalled for. She says just remember, who fell flat on their butt but who’s still gonna win NXT season three! Jamie Keyes is next. Jamie says she could talk about how Aksana looks like she should be in a circus or how AJ looks and act like a ten year old on Christmas morning everytime we see her, but she says she doesn’t need to do that. She says shes gonna be the winner. Naomi gets to dissin’.

Her mother always told her that ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all’ but she says if it’s about wrestling and entertainment, she has all of them beat. She said Kaitlyn tried to diss her on her confessional, she says she’s way too cocky and way too arrogant. Kaitlyn mocks her again before Maxine begins! She says she’s sick and tired of the typical Divas as they’re all the same – all overly perky and nice, they even smile when they lose. She asks the gents of the audience a question. What exactly can you do with a nice girl anyways? She continues by saying taking her home to mommy, watch some Oprah – HOW BORING! She syas more importantly, nice girls can’t get things done in a mans world. She says she can though, as the only position for her in WWE is at the top! WWE Universe pick AJ as the winner!

AJ celebrates like a ten year old on Christmas day but EXCUSE ME! Class and beauty (according to Michael Cole) has arrived on the show. Vickie enters the ring and shoos the other Divas out her way. She says that week after week she tries her hardest to make her into a reflection of herself. She asks everyone to feel her pain for ONCE as look what they gave her to work with. She asks Kaitlyn for once to step it up.

Kaitlyn fires back saying she’s tried her hardest but all Vickie has done is bring her down. She says shes gonna step it up by challenging Vickie to a one on one match! Vickie scoffs at her idea and asks if she’s forgotten who she’s dealing with. Vickie accepts the challenge. She says she’s gonna prove that she’s the pro, and that Kaitlyn is nothing. She then bitch slaps Kaitlyn who fires back and shoves Vickie to the floor. The pair then start catfighting. They get pulled apart but go straight after each other! Next week, we get our first elimination and Kaitlyn will take on Vickie Guerrero in a singles match!

This week is a special throwback to the days of the original NXT Best Coverage. For this week only, Marcella is back and taking over for her evil BFF, Marc.  Let’s not waste time! Episode three starts out very strange. Why? CM PUNK has taken over for Michael Cole. The Second City Saint doesn’t like NXT either. Bless, these girlies are going to get a verbal beatdown.

NXT’s top pro,Vickie Guerrero, has a surprise for her rookie Kaitlyn and the “inferior” rookie divas. She has enlisted the help of Undisputed Divas Champions LAYCOOL. Laycool verbally berates every rookie simply because they can. Kelly Kelly had enough of “dumb and dumber” and stood up for the rookies. She challenged Laycool and Kaitlyn to a match. So it’s going to be Naomi, Jamie, and K2 vs. Laycool and Kaitlyn in the main event. Oh, the fake champs can’t wait. Laycool better be careful as you never know maybe after this season is over all the rookie divas and main roster divas may team up and eat the champs alive.

Enough talking about that blah blah blah! We have our first of the evening– Rookie Diva Challenge.  We learn that timing is everything when you are a WWE Diva. So what better way to test that then in musical chairs? I always hated musical chairs, so bless my heart, I will keep it short. AJ wins! AJ and Naomi were the last divas.  So when AJ won, they hugged and were good sports. Yeyy!

We see a promo about Aksana! We learn more about the Billion Dollar Baby! Now, hold up! We see Aksana backstage visibly upset. Goldust asks her what is wrong. Aksana might be DEPORTED! Goldust said that they will take care of it and they will turn Aksana into a winner. YAYA!

Episode two starts out with a series of EXCUSE ME‘s! Vickie says Kaitlyn embarrassed her last week, she has decided to invite someone onto the show to make her proud – he’s the current Intercontinental champion her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler! We get a flashback of last week’s confrontation between AJ, Kaitlyn and Vickie. Primo and AJ then make their way out for this mixed tag team match. The Superstars start out but after a dropkick, Dolph tags out to Kaitlyn. She enters, as does AJ. She does some robot dancing before getting locked into a waist lock. AJ rolls round her back with a sunset flip pin for two. AJ puts Kaitlyn in a headlock, Kaitlyn tries to power out by lifting her up, but AJ stomps right back down, keeping the lock tight.

Kaitlyn shoves her off finally and knocks her down with a big shoulder block. Kaitlyn walks over AJ. She gets kicked in the head twice as AJ gets up and kicks her down. AJ drives some elbows to her face. She runs off and hits a crossbody for a two count. AJ gets up but is levelled with a huge clothesline. Tag to Dolph Ziggler. Dolph charges in and knocks Primo off the apron. He circles AJ before blocking her from getting out. She slaps him not once, not twice, but three times, before tagging in Primo who takes control. The Superstars wrestle until Dolph hits the Zig Zag for the win. Vickie jumps around until she sees Kaitlyn jump into Dolph’s arms. She scowls and walks off.

NXT Diva Profile – Maxine! Her name is Maxine. She says she’s the next WWE Diva. She came from a very large family and is Spanish, Cuban, Italian, Hawaiin and Chinese. She studied Criminology which leaded to her doing crime scene investigations but she also did modelling on the side. Her greatest asset is her EYES! Her hidden talent is dancing – she loves Salsa. She’s a very strong minded woman and she’ll be your best friend, until she decides you’ll be her enemy. 100% power and control is what she wants – power is what really matters – and she’ll do whatever it takes to get it. She says the other five Divas aren’t willing to push it like she is. The says they will have to find a new dream because she wants it all! Next is the Diva Joke Off Challenge! Last week, Naomi won BOTH challenges, can she do the same tonight?

Last week WWE shocked us Diva fans by announcing that season three of NXT would feature only rookie Divas. They would shock us even more when profiling Vickie Guerrero’s rookie; a six foot nine monster Diva, Aloisia. They continued to shock by having Vickie Guerrero fire Aloisia on the Friday and that she would introduce her replacement on the season three debut of NXT. Anyway, enough babble, let’s get on with the show!

We get an all new fancy NXT opening. Striker opens the show by introducing Kelly Kelly. Kelly introduces her Naomi Night. The Bella Twins then introduce Jamie Keyes. Primo introduces his ‘firecracker’, AJ. The former Divas champ, Alicia Fox introduces the ‘meanest of the mean’, my favourite in the competition, Maxine! Goldust then introduces Aksana. “EXCUUUUUUUSE ME!” is heard. Vickie Guerrero is out to ruin the party! “EXCUSE ME!” she yells for a second time. She goes on to say how she fired Aloisia as she had to learn the hard way before getting excused again. She says Aloisia may have been taller than her, but she will never ever be bigger than her. Holler Vickie! Vickie introduces her new rookie Diva and she’s ALMOST as pretty as Vickie. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s Kaitlyn (FCW Diva, Ricki Vaughn / Celeste).

We learn that the Diva NXT will be three months long. Matt Striker babbles on like a ninny before asking the rookies to introduce themselves. First up is Aloisia’s replacement, Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn says Striker is so handsome. She said she’s the kind of girl who gave you your first kiss, then a wedgie two seconds later. She’s the kind of girl who won homecoming queen and class clown in the same night. She says there’s something different about her and she wants to capture the hearts of the WWE Universe. Aksana goes to deliver her speech, but Matt get excused by Vickie. She turns to Kaitlyn and scowls. “Is that the best that you have? I am so disappointed. If you are going to represent me, you will do this well. DO IT AGAIN! NOW!” she demands. Maxine laughs at Kaitlyn as she takes centre stage again. She says she’s SOOOOOOOOO excited to have Vickie as her pro. Maxine can be seen howling in the background still. Kaitlyn said she will still give everyone wedgies. Now, I’m not going to type out what everyone said, I thought I should for Kaitlyn as nothing is known about her! But I’ll say this, Maxine got the most heat (and “WHAT?!”‘s) and Naomi got the loudest pop! The first challenge will be a dance off… Continue Reading… »
