LAST TIME: The Beautiful People vs. Laycool
Last Friday two mean girl tag teams faced off. It was TNA’s original Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) who took on WWE’s nasty girls Laycool (Layla & Michelle McCool). Flavor Of the Month – April Edition!
Flavor Of the Week is back….. with a twist! Since WWE.com has all but abandoned the Saturday Triple Threat (replacing it with ONE featued Diva or “special” Diva Focuses such as ‘never-before-seen’ photos and ‘best of’ galleries), and Knockout photoshoots have been slagging drastically, Flavor Of the Week is now known as ‘Flavor Of the Month‘! The same rules apply. You vote for the shoot you liked the best this month. The shoot with the most votes will be crowned as ‘Flavor Of the Month‘. Easy peasy, am I right? ;)
BUT! The fun doesn’t stop there! At the end of the year we will combine all Flavors Of the Month into one giant poll to determine who will be ‘Flavor Of the Year‘!
This month we were treated to shoots from Aksana, Brie Bella, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka, Angelina Love, Trish Stratus, Audrey Marie, Charlotte, Emma, Paige, Sasha Banks, Summer Rae, Miss Tessmacher, A.J. SHINE Nine Set for April 19th!
After coming off the heels of a very good SHINE Eight last month, The busy month of April for Independent Women’s Wrestling continues as we are now onto SHINE Nine for this month coming up. Last Month, you saw Kimberly going against Leva Bates in a Pick Your Poison/I Quit Match which saw Kimberly win the match, thus making this long feud that started at SHINE Five 2-2 with the both of them. Leva Bates and Kimberly will go at it one last time in a Arkham Asylum Steel Cage Match, Which I assume is a steel cage match.
Also announced for the show will be new stars coming into SHINE, but familiar faces. They have dubbed it the “International Invision”. SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight, Kellie Skater, Rhia O’Reilly, and Shazza McKenzie, who all respectively debuted at SHINE Four back in October, will return to the company while Jessie McKay, Evie, Madison Eagles and Courtney Rush will be making their debuts at this show! In addition to the names that have been announced, Angelina Love, Amazing Kong, Santana, Brittney Savage, Su Yung, Mercedes Martinez, Nikki Roxx, Jessicka Havok, Valkyrie (Allysin Kay, Taylor Made, April Hunter, Ivelisse and Rain), Mia Yim, Daffney and the returning Jazz, who was last seen at SHINE Four will all be there at this show!

Knockouts tattoo Twitter war continues!
What first started off as a harmless tweet from TNA’s Brooke Tessmacher, has escalated into an all out Knockout war on Twitter! After several comments thrown back and forth between Brooke and former Knockout Angelina Love, the current Knockouts champion (and former ‘Beautiful People’ teammate of Angelina) Velvet Sky got involved, tweeting Love with a picture of a hand tattoo.

Following this, Angelina replied with “@VelVelHoller LOL!! I love it, it’s so beautiful, ESP on you! #hottestpigeonsever”. But if you thought that was the end, you were sadly mistaken! Another former TNA Knockout in Nikki Roxx (formally TNA’s Roxxi) took to her Twitter page to give her thoughts on the whole hand tattoo situation.

Former and Current Knockouts Deliver ‘Knockout Punches’
These tweets have raised many questions about how the Knockout locker room may not be all “lovey dovey”. Personally, I am very ashamed of the actions of both ladies as it is not professional and makes them seem immature. We wish both ladies the best of luck in their continued wrestling success.

Several former Knockouts turn down all Knockouts PPV
TNA are taping their Knockouts only PPV this Sunday, entitled “One Night Only: TNA Knockout Knockdown”, which will be a ‘Queen of the Ring’ style tournament.
They have reached out to several former TNA Knockouts and already big selection of names have said they will not be performing on the show. The following ladies said they wouldn’t be attending, confirming this on their official Twitter pages:
Kathy Dingman (The first Miss TNA ‘Taylor Vaughn’) Ms. Payton Banks (Rain) Sarita Rosita Winter Angelina Love Traci Brooks Amazing Kong Roxxi
Former TNA Knockout Shelly Martinez – known as Salinas during her time in TNA – also announced in a vlog on her Youtube page that she wasn’t asked to be a part of the event.
It’s unknown whether TNA British Bootcamp competitors Hannah and Holly Blossom will compete and if both of TNA’s GutCheck competitor winners Lei’D Tapa and Taeler Hendrix will compete.
