In a recent interview with WWE.com, The Glamazon Beth Phoenix took a jab at the brand new Divas champion, Layla.

“Layla hasn’t earned anything,” Beth said with a hiss. “I mean, who’d she ever beat? No one should be No. 1 contender until I’m cleared. There shouldn’t have even been a Divas Championship Match at Extreme Rules.”

Then, she went on to brag about how she returned in half the time with the same injury, saying:

“I know Layla was out for a year, big deal! I had ACL surgery too, and I made it back in half the time. When I return, I’m not only going to beat up Layla, I’m going to bust her other knee, and make sure that she goes away and never comes back. She has no idea what she has gotten herself into.”

Not only was she pinned this week by her, but she was even pinned after Brooke hit her with her OWN finisher – Eat Defeat! Gail’s got plenty to worry about now as Brooke challenges Gail at Sacrifice for the title.

Brianna and Nicole, now formally known as the Bella Twins, have finally released a statement regarding their leave from the WWE!

Good morning Bella Army!

What a whirlwind few days. As you all know by now, TwinMagic has decided to take some time away from wrestling. First and foremost, we want to thank each and every one of you for your support. We would not be where we are without the Bella Army. This beautiful chapter in our life was filled with many amazing memories, friendships and moments with you all that we will cherish. Being apart of WWE is like being apart of a family, we will always be in it

Just so you know, we need your continued support. We are on the cover of Maxim Espanol this month and later on this week check out the calendar to see where you can meet us.

Throughout the last five years, the Bella Army has helped us take home two Diva Championships and helped make us two of WWE’s most popular Diva’s, but most importantly the interaction we had with Bella Fans everywhere has allowed us to have so much fun. We want this fun to continue. Keep talking to us on Twitter and interacting on our blog posts. We will also do fan questions this week with the hash tag #BellaArmyForever.

Remember it’s not Good-Bye….the fun is just getting started BELLA style!

The Bellas were signed to a developmental contract in 2007 and made their official debut in 2008 (Brie in August, with Nikki joining in November). We would like to wish the Bellas all the best in their newest adventures!

It certainly has been a rough few days for former Divas Champions the Bella Twins. Not only did Nikki (Brie if you want to be technical, as she was the one who took the pin!) lose her title to Layla this past Sunday at Extreme Rules, they also lost their job! Watch below as Miss Eve sends the devilish duo packing:

The Divas division is once again flawless! Early yesterday a text message had circulated that former Divas Champion Beth Phoenix had not been cleared to compete in her rematch against new champion Nikki Bella, forcing Executive Administrator Eve Torres to remove her from competition. Those pesky Bellas assumed they were going to be given the night off and were about to head home when – surprise! – Eve drops the bombshell that Nikki will be facing a mystery opponent….. they can relax! It’s not Kharma! And just who was this mystery opponent? None other than the flawless one herself, the returning Layla! For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past year, Layla had been sidelined since last year’s Extreme Rules – where she defeted former tag partner and BFFL Michelle McCool in a ‘Loser Leaves WWE’ match – with a torn MCL and ACL. After a failed attempt at Twin Magic, Layla hit the Layout on Brie, pinning her to capture her first Divas Championship!

A HUGE congratulations to Layla! It is an awful lot of hard work to come back from an injury like that, her title win was well deserved!

Keeping her spot this week is heart broken AJ Lee. After her crazy mad turn on Natalya last week, we were treated to another spout of fury from the pint sized Diva. She was backstage with her BFFL Kaitlyn on Smackdown. Kaitlyn was ragging on Daniel Bryan so AJ shut her up with a big ol’ slap!

Last night on RAW, Nikki Bella picked up a huge win and pinned Beth Phoenix to become the new WWE Divas champion, ending Beth’s six month reign as Divas champion. Before the match even began, Eve Torres came out to announce not only that she was the new Executive Administrator to John Lauriantis, but to also make this match a lumberjill match – as according to Eve, there are too many Divas that sit around doing nothing. Relive the action below and see Nikki celebrate her title win backstage with her sister Brie in a WWE.com exclusive.

During the title match on RAW, Beth Phoenix injured her ankle. WWE’s doctor spoke to WWE.com and said the following about Beth’s injury:

“It looks like she affected her anterior talofibular ligament, which is the most common injured ankle ligament on an inversion injury,” Sampson told WWE.com. “She has some swelling, [and] she’s having a hard time walking or ambulating on it. We’re going to need an MRI just to make sure there’s nothing else going on and see how we can treat it – if we need surgery or if we can do it conservatively.”

We hope it’s nothing serious and that Beth will be Glam Slammin’ and kicking butt very soon.

Remember going ‘Outside The Ring’ with Alicia Fox? Well this time we go to the home of Nikki Bella where she and sister Brie show off their surf boarding skills (or lack there of). Check it out below.

As suspected, Nikki Bella may well be the new number one contender for the WWE Divas championship after her pinfall victory over Beth Phoenix two weeks ago on Smackdown. In a WWE.com exclusive, Nikki with her sister Brie, are interviewed. Brie says Nikki hasn’t got a title shot because she picked Team Teddy at WrestleMania and Johnny hasn’t forgiven her. She goes on to say how Maria Menounos pinned Beth twice and that the champ is a joke!

Beth Phoenix creeps up on the twins. She says she’ll go right ahead and give Nikki what she wants, mainly because she only wants to find out if she hurts one twin, the other will feel the same pain! Check it out below.
