Daffney steps down as SHINE Hostess, applies for managers licenses

In an interesting turn of events since we are a couple of weeks removed from SHINE Nine, Daffney, who has been the hostess since the very first show, has stepped down. Here is her letter below to SHINE wrestling
SHINE Officials received the following letter from Daffney. SHINE Officials will be issuing a statement later this week.
An Open Letter to you all ~
Last spring when I first got together with Sal, Howard, and Lexie about forming a new Womens Federation I cannot tell you how exciting it all was. To be a part of a revolutionizing product from the ground up has been such a fullfilling project and I am so proud to watch it soar. BUT – and it’s quite a big but – it seems as though things have changed in my absence from the locker room.
From early on I found myself a little disheartened by some of our athletes’ attitudes. Throughout our first year, quite a few of the ladies on our roster have shown a lack of good sportsmanship and have been very disrespectful to myself, SHINE management, and the other women that work for our company. And it all came to a head at SHINE 9.
I have sat idly by for months now as I get microphones slammed into my chest and dissed by some of these rookies coming in. The final straw – after interrupting Legacy Awards and Legends recognitions since our debut show – Mercedes Martinez ruined Nikki’s birthday celebration and literally left cake on my face. Well, no more. I do believe it’s time to get my hands dirty.
It’s time to step away from Event Hostessing – maybe even commentary. For now I feel I can be of greater use ringside and in the locker room. I have applied for my Manager’s License and fully intend to straighten out these “ladies” if it’s granted. Wait til they get a load of me.
Live LOUD,
Daff

Thoughts:
While this is interesting news to say at least, I want to know how will Daffney play a role in SHINE? Maybe be a equalizer to April Hunter when she is managing? Who knows? The big story here is, who is going to be the host for the SHINE shows now that she has stepped down?
SHINE Nine Set for April 19th!

After coming off the heels of a very good SHINE Eight last month, The busy month of April for Independent Women’s Wrestling continues as we are now onto SHINE Nine for this month coming up. Last Month, you saw Kimberly going against Leva Bates in a Pick Your Poison/I Quit Match which saw Kimberly win the match, thus making this long feud that started at SHINE Five 2-2 with the both of them. Leva Bates and Kimberly will go at it one last time in a Arkham Asylum Steel Cage Match, Which I assume is a steel cage match.
Also announced for the show will be new stars coming into SHINE, but familiar faces. They have dubbed it the “International Invision”. SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight, Kellie Skater, Rhia O’Reilly, and Shazza McKenzie, who all respectively debuted at SHINE Four back in October, will return to the company while Jessie McKay, Evie, Madison Eagles and Courtney Rush will be making their debuts at this show! In addition to the names that have been announced, Angelina Love, Amazing Kong, Santana, Brittney Savage, Su Yung, Mercedes Martinez, Nikki Roxx, Jessicka Havok, Valkyrie (Allysin Kay, Taylor Made, April Hunter, Ivelisse and Rain), Mia Yim, Daffney and the returning Jazz, who was last seen at SHINE Four will all be there at this show!
If you guys want to order and see this all come down then you can do so by going to WWNLive and ordering it on Ippv with three options you can buy from. Stay tuned to April 19th to see history go down in Ybor City!

Velvet Love Entertainment:
15 Beautiful Moments

Both original members of The Beautiful People – Angelina Love and Velvet Sky – in the past month have both been granted their release from Impact Wrestling. Both ladies made their debut in the company in the battle royal which started the Knockouts division in 2007. They teamed together, fought one another and went at it in the singles division, both former Knockouts also went on to become Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team champions. Taking a look back at their careers in TNA, we’ve picked out fifteen ‘Beautiful’ moments that we think are HOLLERING! In no particular order, here they are..

ONE MAKEOVER TOO FAR
Back in the day, TNA promoted women’s wrestling as much as they did the men’s, putting them in stipulation matches and hardcore matches like the controversial Makeover Battle Royal Ladder match! Gail Kim had won head shaving immunity a week prior and with Angelina Love being the final woman eliminated from the battle royal, it would be her getting her head shaved if Roxxi won. The Beautiful People schemed and took their opportunity when Roxxi climbed the ladder. Love shoved the ladder over, causing Roxxi to fall and lose the match. As the Knockouts stood by, holding Roxxi’s hand as she got her head shaved, The Beautiful People paraded around ringside, laughing, teasing and mocking Roxxi getting her head shaved bald.

KIP’S OUT, TARA’S IN!
After making quick work of Sojourner Bolt in a TNA Knockouts title match, Angelina Love with her fellow beauties made it clear to “ICKY CREEP” ‘Cute’ Kip that he it’s time to stop riding their coat tails and he’s is no longer a part of The Beautiful People. Angelina had security throw him out before she threw out an open challenge to anyone. Much to the shock of TBP and everyone else, Tara debuted and took out all three members.
