Former Knockout Rosita cast in Army of the Damned

Former TNA Knockout Tag Champion Rosita has been cast in a film by Woodhaven Films called Army of the Damned.
There hasn’t been much information released about the film or what role Rosita – real name Thea Trinidad – may play, however the Woodhaven Films website has posted a brief synopsis:
The filming of a hit reality TV show goes horribly wrong when a group of small town cops respond to a call that brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, domestic disturbance.

Rosita confirms her TNA release

Sadly, the rumours are true: TNA Knockout Rosita has been released from the company.
The former Knockout, now a certified Zumba instructor, was rumoured throughout last month to have been released from TNA when her former partner in crime, Sartia was released. Rosita’s last appearance with TNA was in April 2012.
She recently took to her Twitter account to confirm her departure:
As of yesterday I am no longer employed w/TNA. It was the best decision 4me right now. THX 2: The fans! TNA & Dixie Carter 4the opportunity!
However, she doesn’t plan to retire from wrestling just yet:
Appreciate all the love from my #TeamTMT ..Just know, this is not my retirement from wrestling! I still have a mission to complete! [praying hands]Daddy
We wish Rosita – real name Thea Trinidad – the best in future.
Rosita Update!

There are numerous conflicting reports circulating around the internet about Rosita’s Impact Wrestling status. Some websites were claiming that Rosita was released and are now claiming she is still with Impact Wrestling. The certain information is that her profile is still on Impact Wrestling website as provided here and that there has yet to be any official statement from the Impact Wrestling website or Rosita about a departure.
In addition, Rosita has been mum about whether the whole swirl of rumors are true or false. She has tweeted the following message in regard to the flood of tweets about the alleged dismissal:
Wow.. The love and support I’ve received from you all is so heartwarming ❤ thank you! So grateful to have such passionate fans!

Also, she has sent out a tweet praising Hulk and Brooke Hogan and telling some fans to not bash them as the Hogans have been amazing to her.
We will continue to keep you updated on this matter in order to provide you with the most recent developments.
Two Knockouts Done With TNA

We are eleven days into the New Year, and the Knockout division has suffered it’s first two casualties: former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Rosita & Sarita. Sarita’s roster and Knockout photo pages were quietly removed earlier in the week, confirming that the Knockout is done with the company. Sarita – real name Sarah Stock – joined the company in 2009 and went on to capture the Knockouts Tag Team title twice with partners Taylor Wilde and Rosita. She had not been used since April of last year when she and Rosita dropped the titles to ODB and Eric Young. During her downtime she spent time on the wrestling scene in Japan and Mexico, including capturing her seventh straight CMLL Bodybuilding title this past fall. Though her pages are still on the site, Rosita – real name Thea Trinidad – is also said to be through. According to PWInsider, TNA opted not to renew her contract which expired this week. Rosita joined TNA in 2011 as Sarita’s storyline cousin, eventually capturing the Knockouts Tag Team title. Much like Sarita, she had not been used since dropping the titles in April.
Best of luck to both ladies in the future!

Where’s TNA’s Rosita?

Could TNA’s Rosita have been released by the company?
When the Knockouts photo galleries were updated over the weekend, Rosita’s section was quietly removed alongside Traci Brooks and Winter, who’ve officially parted ways from TNA Wrestling. Thing is, Rosita is still in fact listed on the main roster page, yet so are several other former TNA stars, such as former Knockout Velvet Sky.
At 21, the star, real name Thea Trinidad, has a bright future ahead of her, yet she hasn’t been on television with a proper role since spring and her last appearance was on the 17th April edition of Impact.
Time for new Knockouts Tag Team Champions

I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that the 15th of April episode of Impact Wrestling – the pay-per-view Lockdown – was the last time we seen Eric Young and ODB competing as a tag team and right now the male female pairing of women’s tag team champions, currently hold the longest reign of any team to ever hold the titles and they’ve done literally nothing with them. Didn’t Hamada and Awesome Kong get stripped of the belts for not defending the titles for thirty days?
When they won the belts, it baffled me and the whole wrestling world, and with news that Eric Young will be returning full time to Impact Wrestling, it’s about time to give this team a quick defeat and brush their reign under the rug as if it never happened. Live Impact airs tonight so what better way to kick it off than to have brand new tag champs. We take a quick look at four teams, eligible for the tag team gold.

SARITA & ROSITA
The Knockouts of dominant stable Mexican America are another couple who haven’t been seen in TNA in a very long time. Sarita and Rosita are former Knockouts Tag champs – Sarita holding the belt on not one occasion with Rosita, but on a second too with former Knockout Taylor Wilde. Mexican America could make their well needed return tonight on live Impact and defeat the husband wife couple to capture the second reign as a team.
