SHINE Nine Set for April 19th!

null

After coming off the heels of a very good SHINE Eight last month, The busy month of April for Independent Women’s Wrestling continues as we are now onto SHINE Nine for this month coming up. Last Month, you saw Kimberly going against Leva Bates in a Pick Your Poison/I Quit Match which saw Kimberly win the match, thus making this long feud that started at SHINE Five 2-2 with the both of them. Leva Bates and Kimberly will go at it one last time in a Arkham Asylum Steel Cage Match, Which I assume is a steel cage match.

Also announced for the show will be new stars coming into SHINE, but familiar faces. They have dubbed it the “International Invision”. SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight, Kellie Skater, Rhia O’Reilly, and Shazza McKenzie, who all respectively debuted at SHINE Four back in October, will return to the company while Jessie McKay, Evie, Madison Eagles and Courtney Rush will be making their debuts at this show! In addition to the names that have been announced, Angelina Love, Amazing Kong, Santana, Brittney Savage, Su Yung, Mercedes Martinez, Nikki Roxx, Jessicka Havok, Valkyrie (Allysin Kay, Taylor Made, April Hunter, Ivelisse and Rain), Mia Yim, Daffney and the returning Jazz, who was last seen at SHINE Four will all be there at this show!

If you guys want to order and see this all come down then you can do so by going to WWNLive and ordering it on Ippv with three options you can buy from. Stay tuned to April 19th to see history go down in Ybor City!

Former Diva Sofia Cortez Comments on Recent Rumours

This past Saturday, it was announced that former Tough Enough contestant and Diva of FCW and NXT Sofia Cortez had been released. Cortez – real name Ivelisse Vélez – took to her Twitter account on Saturday to tell the world of her release.

The former Diva who placed seventh overall in the Tough Enough contest, took to her Twitter yet again today, to address rumours of her release. Word had it that Sofia had an “attitude problem” and thought she was more deserving than other Divas and that she should be competing on the main roster and not NXT. Here’s what she said:

@RealIvelisse

It amazes me & breaks my <3 to have people says lies about me. Im 1 of the most humble person you'll ever meet. I & my people know #DaTruth

So for the record: #No I DONT have an attitude or ego problem. #No Im NOT going to go on a rant & bad mouth @WWE . But #Yes I got screwed.

Regardless though.. I am still endlessly grateful for all opportunities trusted upon me by @WWE during my time there. #CaseClosed
