This past Friday, WWE Smackdown Diva Rosa Mendes was involved in a multi-car wreck in Las Vegas. Mendes was a passenger in her friend’s Hummer, stopped at a light when they were hit from behind by another car that was also hit, moving at high speeds. Rosa was rushed to hospital but released a few hours later. She told WWE.com this:

“My neck and back were really hurting, my body is my job. I was so scared that I was not going to be able to wrestle. I was in a lot of pain. Nothing’s broken, I feel like I can wrestle but the whole right side of my neck and back have a burning sensation.”

Later on Saturday night, Rosa Mendes tweeted the following, thanking fans for their support during this tough time:

@LaRosaMendes: Just want to thank everyone for their texts, messages, and phone calls. Its nice knowing I have people that care me.

We wish Rosa the best and most speediest recovery. Hopefully she’ll be cranking up the crazy in the tag team and Divas division very soon!

Eve Torres has become the new H.B.I.C. around the WWE. In the short time she has been Executive Adminsitrator, Eve Torres has fired two WWE Divas, MADE a seven foot tall giant look three feet tall and just generally make certain people’s lives miserable. WWE.com caught up with Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Beth Phoenix and Divas champ Layla to get their thoughts on Eve. Check it out:

Last night on RAW, Nikki Bella picked up a huge win and pinned Beth Phoenix to become the new WWE Divas champion, ending Beth’s six month reign as Divas champion. Before the match even began, Eve Torres came out to announce not only that she was the new Executive Administrator to John Lauriantis, but to also make this match a lumberjill match – as according to Eve, there are too many Divas that sit around doing nothing. During the title match on RAW, Beth Phoenix injured her ankle. WWE’s doctor spoke to WWE.com and said the following about Beth’s injury:

“It looks like she affected her anterior talofibular ligament, which is the most common injured ankle ligament on an inversion injury,” Sampson told WWE.com. “She has some swelling, [and] she’s having a hard time walking or ambulating on it. We’re going to need an MRI just to make sure there’s nothing else going on and see how we can treat it – if we need surgery or if we can do it conservatively.”

We hope it’s nothing serious and that Beth will be Glam Slammin’ and kicking butt very soon.

She says things will get really weird, so maybe the ‘Queen of Mean’ has something up her sleeve!

Earlier this week, WWE.com treated us to a gallery in which they called the ‘Greatest Divas Gallery Ever’ with 100 smoking hot photos of Divas past and present! From Kaitlyn to Trish Stratus, even an unseen shot from former Diva Cherry’s ‘Summer Skin’ shoot (Cherry was released in the summer of 2008, one week before her Summer Skin shoot was to be featured)! Head on over to the gallery to have a look! It’s definitely not worth missing!

Wrestlemania is considered the Superbowl of the WWE….. and the Hall Of Fame ceremony is considered their Oscars! And much like the Oscars, we are all looking forward to what our Divas will be wearing to the show! WWE.com continues their yearly tradition of the Hall Of Fame Divas photoshoots, in which our Divas show off their stunning evening gowns for the event. This year’s Diva attendees were Aksana, Alicia, Beth (unfortunately not given a shoot), Brie & Nikki (taking over Eve and Kelly’s duties in escorting the HOF’ers onstage), Eve, Lilian, Natalya, Rosa, Tamina and Vickie. All of them look absolutely gorgeous! Especially Aksana, who decided to forego wearing her trademark black outfits! Be sure to check out the shoots in the gallery!

Welcome to Wrestlemania 28! 

Despite not being healthy enough to do coverage, I will do my coverage anyway since WrestleMania is ONLY once a year.

I will be back to covering Raw and WWE PPVs in May since I will receive surgery this coming week.

Pre WrestleMania Match

Epico & Primo vs. Usos vs. Tyson & Gabriel saw the tag champs (Epico & Primo) win. Rosa Mendes was pleased.

Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee are backstage in an interview. They kiss and AJ does the “YES” dance like a silly.

Now it’s time for Mania.

Lilian Garcia does a TREMENDOUS  job with the anthem.

AJ Lee  helps Daniel Bryan to the ring. She gives him a kiss and Daniel gets flatten by Sheamus.

AJ tries to console the former champion. BLESS!

Backstage, Team Johnny is babbling. Miz tries a pep talk but Brie Bella and Vickie Guerrero give him scary looks.  David Otunga (who thinks he is a stripper) drinks his FAKE coffee everywhere.

Just to let people know, Wrestlemania 29 is in New Jersey. VERY CLOSE TO THIS HAPPY LADY!

We see a hype video for divas (all divas minus Kharma and Maxine were shown!) Lots of Layla shown! (Plus, throughout the night we seen footage of the Mania  week featuring superstars and divas!)

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Eve Torres & WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix

Eve comes out with Beth (who thinks she is a bird).  Kelly Kelly and Maria then come out.  K2 and Eve start out. They roll around. Kelly takes Eve to the corner for the back elbow  to no avail. . Eve goes up top for the moonsault but Kelly knocks her down. Maria tags in. She and Kelly do a double “sweet face” to Eve in the corner. Eve takes Maria down  and spanks her everywhere.

Finally, Maria tags K2 back in. K2 goes nuts on Beth.   K2 goes up top and hits Molly Holly’s  Molly-Go-Round pinning Beth but  Eve breaks it up. K2 blocks the Glam Slam into a bulldog.  Maria takes ninety years to go on top. Beth lifts Maria over head until Kelly makes the save. They do a dance and Maria rolls up Beth for the win.

Winners: Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos

They honor the HOF’ers.  Congratulations to them all!!!

Brie Bella introduces Team Johnny, who have Vickie Guerrero as the flag bearer.  Nikki Bella introduces Team Teddy, who has Eve sniffing Zack Ryder and Aksana sniffing Teddy.  Vickie cackles EVERYWHERE! She and Aksana get into a catfight which the Bellas join in for fun.

At the end of the match, Eve rolls in and fist pumps with Zack  distracting him, so he loses for his team. BLESS. After the match, she kicks him in the now flat balls.

Why didn’t Aksana rip her weave off?

Torrie Wilson is sitting in the front row with an idiot.

For some reason,  I’m still swooning over how nice CM PUNK looked in his suit in the Hall of Fame. Bless me.

Cameron and Naomi dance with Brodus Clay. Brodus’ MOMMA and her Bridge club dance. They have scared my Uncle, which I’m eternally grateful to them. THANK YOU!

I would like to know if catering at this event was any good….

…..or at least that’s what it should be called. Afterall, it seems that we’re getting Rosa shoots every other week now! Triple Threat Saturday returns with brand new photoshoots from Rosa, A.J. and Natalya!

A.J. Lee gets her nerd on in ‘Self-Rescuing Princess‘, a nod to any fan of the Super Mario Brothers franchise! A.J. goess for a punky-goth look, which is something new for her…. we hope she keeps this look up!

Natalya may have a ‘Hart Of Class‘, but there is only one word to describe her shoot: BORING. Now now, calm yourselves! Nattie looks fantastic, don’t get me wrong. But having the same pose and facial expression in almost ever single photo just doesn’t do it for me. Love the dress and the fur. But please, Nattie! MIX IT UP A LITTLE!

Rosa Mendes returns for her fourth shoot this year in ‘Flower Girl‘ and to be honest? It is not a good shoot at all. The dress is super cute, but not suited for her. I also may be tarred and feathered for this one, but I am getting serious tranny vibes facially. I’m not sure what’s to blame: photoshopping or the makeup artist. Not a good look for Rosa at all. We’ve seen better!
