Several former Knockouts turn down all Knockouts PPV

TNA are taping their Knockouts only PPV this Sunday, entitled “One Night Only: TNA Knockout Knockdown”, which will be a ‘Queen of the Ring’ style tournament.

They have reached out to several former TNA Knockouts and already big selection of names have said they will not be performing on the show. The following ladies said they wouldn’t be attending, confirming this on their official Twitter pages:

  • Kathy Dingman (The first Miss TNA ‘Taylor Vaughn’)
  • Ms. Payton Banks (Rain)
  • Sarita
  • Rosita
  • Winter
  • Angelina Love
  • Traci Brooks
  • Amazing Kong
  • Roxxi
  • Former TNA Knockout Shelly Martinez – known as Salinas during her time in TNA – also announced in a vlog on her Youtube page that she wasn’t asked to be a part of the event.

It’s unknown whether TNA British Bootcamp competitors Hannah and Holly Blossom will compete and if both of TNA’s GutCheck competitor winners Lei’D Tapa and Taeler Hendrix will compete.

    Two Knockouts Done With TNA

We are eleven days into the New Year, and the Knockout division has suffered it’s first two casualties: former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Rosita & Sarita. Sarita’s roster and Knockout photo pages were quietly removed earlier in the week, confirming that the Knockout is done with the company. Sarita – real name Sarah Stock – joined the company in 2009 and went on to capture the Knockouts Tag Team title twice with partners Taylor Wilde and Rosita. She had not been used since April of last year when she and Rosita dropped the titles to ODB and Eric Young. During her downtime she spent time on the wrestling scene in Japan and Mexico, including capturing her seventh straight CMLL Bodybuilding title this past fall. Though her pages are still on the site, Rosita – real name Thea Trinidad – is also said to be through. According to PWInsider, TNA opted not to renew her contract which expired this week. Rosita joined TNA in 2011 as Sarita’s storyline cousin, eventually capturing the Knockouts Tag Team title. Much like Sarita, she had not been used since dropping the titles in April.

Best of luck to both ladies in the future!

Gail Kim Accepts #1 Plaque for PWI Top 50 Females

On TNA Today, Gail Kim is the special guest where she accepts a plaque for placing first on the PWI Top 50 Females list of 2012. However, her moment is ruined by a fellow Knockout… a certain Knockouts champion!

To see the full list, continue on after the cut.

    OhSoDivalicious’ Top 50 Scream Queens!

Ah, Halloween…. the one magical day of the year where you can dress up as anyone (or anything) you like and no one can judge you. If you’ve seen the movie ‘Mean Girls‘, it’s considered the one day of the year where a girl can dress like a…. you know where I’m going with this! – and no one can say anything about it. It’s also the one day of the year where the Divas and Knockouts get into the holiday spirit, whether it be taking part in special Halloween battle royals, costume contests, or simply just posing for photoshoots! Over the years we have seen about a hundred different costumes (in some cases, we have a few repeat offenders) grace our TV and computer screens. Since Halloween is just around the corner, we figured it would be fun to count down the Top 50 Halloween costumes…. and you the readers are going to have a say in this!

You will be able to vote for your favorite Divas and Knockouts in costume! Choose your top 5 costumes in each group, and the top ten with the most votes will make up the list. We will begin unveiling the Top 50 Scream Queens on October 26th with the #1 costume being unveiled on Halloween!

Remember: you only get 5 votes and a few days to do it. CHOOSE WISELY, MY FRIENDS.

Time for new Knockouts Tag Team Champions

I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that the 15th of April episode of Impact Wrestling – the pay-per-view Lockdown – was the last time we seen Eric Young and ODB competing as a tag team and right now the male female pairing of women’s tag team champions, currently hold the longest reign of any team to ever hold the titles and they’ve done literally nothing with them. Didn’t Hamada and Awesome Kong get stripped of the belts for not defending the titles for thirty days?

When they won the belts, it baffled me and the whole wrestling world, and with news that Eric Young will be returning full time to Impact Wrestling, it’s about time to give this team a quick defeat and brush their reign under the rug as if it never happened. Live Impact airs tonight so what better way to kick it off than to have brand new tag champs. We take a quick look at four teams, eligible for the tag team gold.

    SARITA & ROSITA

The Knockouts of dominant stable Mexican America are another couple who haven’t been seen in TNA in a very long time. Sarita and Rosita are former Knockouts Tag champs – Sarita holding the belt on not one occasion with Rosita, but on a second too with former Knockout Taylor Wilde. Mexican America could make their well needed return tonight on live Impact and defeat the husband wife couple to capture the second reign as a team.

    The Top 12: 22nd April

After nearly a two year hiatus, The Top 12 (formally known as the Divalicious Dozen) has returned to OhSoDivalicious. If you aren’t familiar with ‘The Top 12′ then here’s the drift; it’s just like WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ feature but ours is much smaller (and better). Ours counts down the top twelve women of wrestling each week. Let’s get on with it with our number twelve, shall we?

    #12 – AJ LEE

    Last week: #N/A
AJ Lee may have been dumped by Daniel Bryan who told her he wished she was never born, but we saw a new side to her on Smackdown – an over emotional psycho side. AJ took out all of her frustrations on third gen Diva Natalya and got herself disqualified.
