Knockouts Invade the UK

Two former TNA Knockouts are set to appear on Pro Wrestling EVE’s WRESTLE-FEVER event. Five time Knockouts champion Angelina Love is set to wrestle, but her opponent is yet to be revealed. Angelina’s TNA rival Taylor Wilde – who now resides in the UK – is set to appear at the event also, but she won’t be wrestling. The fans can go to a meet and greet, to meet Wilde. No news yet on whether she will wrestle or appear on the show. For full details on the event, click here.

Britain’s Blossom Twins are set to appear on a brand new television show for TNA called TNA Boot Camp. The show is set to feature Hannah, Holly and other notable independent wrestlers from the UK like Marty Scurll and Rockstar Spud. Good luck to the twins!

Velvet Love Entertainment:
15 Beautiful Moments

Both original members of The Beautiful People – Angelina Love and Velvet Sky – in the past month have both been granted their release from Impact Wrestling. Both ladies made their debut in the company in the battle royal which started the Knockouts division in 2007. They teamed together, fought one another and went at it in the singles division, both former Knockouts also went on to become Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team champions. Taking a look back at their careers in TNA, we’ve picked out fifteen ‘Beautiful’ moments that we think are HOLLERING! In no particular order, here they are..

#15:
ONE MAKEOVER TOO FAR

Back in the day, TNA promoted women’s wrestling as much as they did the men’s, putting them in stipulation matches and hardcore matches like the controversial Makeover Battle Royal Ladder match! Gail Kim had won head shaving immunity a week prior and with Angelina Love being the final woman eliminated from the battle royal, it would be her getting her head shaved if Roxxi won. The Beautiful People schemed and took their opportunity when Roxxi climbed the ladder. Love shoved the ladder over, causing Roxxi to fall and lose the match. As the Knockouts stood by, holding Roxxi’s hand as she got her head shaved, The Beautiful People paraded around ringside, laughing, teasing and mocking Roxxi getting her head shaved bald.

#14:
KIP’S OUT, TARA’S IN!

After making quick work of Sojourner Bolt in a TNA Knockouts title match, Angelina Love with her fellow beauties made it clear to “ICKY CREEP” ‘Cute’ Kip that he it’s time to stop riding their coat tails and he’s is no longer a part of The Beautiful People. Angelina had security throw him out before she threw out an open challenge to anyone. Much to the shock of TBP and everyone else, Tara debuted and took out all three members.

80. “This business isn’t made for ladies”

ft. Traci Brooks, Lauren & Taylor Wilde

Then Knockout law, Traci Brooks, fixed a Knockout battle royal to become the Main Event Mafia’s chosen Knockout and $50,000. Traci said she did it to survive. Basically, she was a bitter old lady because TNA, who she shed blood, sweat and tears for, didn’t have anything for her. She says the other Knockouts come in HD, but she comes in H-double-D. Lauren being the fiery interviewer she was tells Traci there are a dozen Knockouts who want more TV time and TNA are doing the best they can. Taylor Wilde then comes in crying.

“BOO HOO TAYLOR!”
exclaims Traci. She tells Taylor she shoulda chose another line of work because the wrestling business isn’t made for soft women and ladies… “it’s made for bitches like me!” And blowing a kiss, Traci leaves!

90. “You’re such a LIAR!”

ft. Kelly Kelly & Layla

It was the usual Playboy time in WWE and on ECW Kofi Kingston (with an accent) and Divas champ Kelly Kelly were spotted admiring Maria’s Playboy cover. Kofi is trying to get into Kelly by saying she would make a marvellous Playboy covergirl one day. Kelly awkwardly thanks him before he leaves. K2 turns around and her arch nemesis was standing infront of her.

Layla says she doesn’t appreciate how Kelly was bad to her the week previous, but Layla understands why. She says Playboy asked her to pose for them, not Kelly Kelly. Kelly rolls her eyes and puts it so simply. “They never asked you to pose for Playboy, you’re such a liar!” K2 states before getting slapped. Kelly fires back with a forearm and a catfight breaks out. Layla throws a shoe. The extreme dances get split apart by Kofi and referee!

Ditto Divas: Showing What Love Is…

Wearing the same outfit as someone else can be embarrasing, annoying and sometimes flattering (as the other person looks HORRIBLE in it!) so here at OhSoDivalicious, we’ve decided to pit the women of wrestling against each other in a ‘who wore it better’ contest – now known as DittoDivas!

While browsing Tumblr, I found a picture of former TNA Knockout Taylor Wilde in a match for SLAMminladies.com against Jessica James and couldn’t help but compare her attire to what former WWE Diva Candice Michelle used to wear. Flash back to the Great American Bash, in 2007, and the candi-coated Diva wore something very similar.

Thank You & Goodbye Taylor Wilde

It was last month that Shantelle Malawski, better known to you guys as Taylor Wilde, announced that she would be retiring from professional wrestling to concentrate on her studies.

Yesterday Taylor wrestled in her last match – her retirement match – against a formidable opponent, Alissa Flash. Flash defeated Wilde in what was said to be a good, lengthy match.

We here at OhSoDivalicious want to thank Taylor Wilde for what she has brought to women’s wrestling over the years and wish her the best in her studies and whatever else she chooses to do in the future. Thank you and goodbye (for now ;)) Taylor Wilde!

Taylor Wilde Goes Back To School

In an interview with The Sun, Taylor Wilde talks about quitting wrestling altogether to go back to school. Below is a little extract. You can view the full interview here and you can listen to it on the latest episode of Rob McNichol’s One Sided Ring Podcast, available to download on iTunes or from Podbean.

In our chat — her first and only one since leaving Dixie Carter’s company — the Canadian admitted that she was walking away from the squared circle altogether.

She told us: “I’m not just leaving TNA, I’m retiring from wrestling and going back to school.

“I have nothing but good things to say about TNA. If it wasn’t for my experiences there I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

“But the way things were going, I just felt I needed a change. With the state of the company and the way they were using me, there wasn’t a lot for me to keep me going either.

“I’ve done a lot of the things I wanted to do, and there aren’t many opportunities left for me.”
